Hi,

I am just wondering if there is anybody on this forum that is currently dealing with Salt Lake City Field Office who filed N-400 in 2017?

Me, I filled my N400 past September and had my interview today. Just waiting for the oath ceremony

Congrats! I filed last July while my I-751 is pending, still inline for interview. I went in to the office this Monday and spoke with an supervisor, apparently my application is stuck in the system because the background check freaked out. Don't know how that even happened. I am moving soon with my spouse because we are in the military, hopefully I will get this done soon.

Hello! Did you mean September of 2016?

On the USCIS website it says the Salt Lake City field office is processing cases as of Jan 24, 2017 for N-400 (as of 31 Dec 2017).

Looking at timelines posted here I see a lot of folks that have already been approved at around 3-5 months.  So, I'm wondering exactly what that date represents.  Is that date referring to older cases that have been held up for various reasons (background checks, RFEs, etc) while the SLC field office processes newer cases also?  Or are they that backed up that it's going to be around a year before an interview?

I applied in September 26th 2017

Hi Brunogava,

I am wondering if you can share your interview experience, did the IO interview your I-751 with your spouse and N-400 afterwards?  Thank you!
