U should SO tell people that your wife is your mistress, but you're not sure who the mother of the kids is.  Would love to see their faces on that one.  ;)

Dude seriously???? You might just have me killed out here with my own guns or at the very least castrated. My wife already thinks bad about stuff because I am supposedly one sexy beast that I don't need to pour gasoline on to those flames.

But seriously my wife has a brother who does have a mistress and still goes to see here on the regular basis even after having a stroke a month ago. She just told me that last night because she was worried that I might think it's ok to cheat or whatever. But she is the youngest of 10 siblings so there is ALWAYS some kind of drama going on.

But my wife while we were living in CA was walking our daughter when she was like 6 months old down to the store one day and a lady asked my wife if "she was nanny because our daughter looks white and she looks Spanish". Needless to say my wife was not to happy with that woman and said  that "No, I am not a nanny and this is my child FYI".

Yep I feel for your wife---going to Manhattan with my daughter as a small child lots of people used to think I was the nanny too.  I'm brown-skinned with black hair, and my daughter is quite pasty, blonde and blue-eyed.  I had a lady call Walmart security on me when I was putting my (then cranky and screaming) toddler in her car seat in the parking lot because she insisted that my daughter could "no way in hell" be my child because of our difference in appearance.

In all fairness, though...my husband told me later on (half jokingly to ease the situation when he arrived in the parking lot) that if he hadn't been there to witness the birth he would never have thought she could be mine either.  I dunno, in my eyes she resembles me quite a bit *shrugs*.

When my wife gets sassy, I just remind her she has a cute sister who is a great cook and would love to come to the US.  A DX would be too easy.  :D

That made my day man. HAHAHAHAH

i had fun taking the GC's to school, you could tell the Mum's did not know exactly where I fitted in, and I saw no need to inform them.

Gotta love Pinays, eh?  Now she just rolls her eyes and says, "whatever".  But it seemed to work the first few times.

She still gets mad at me when someone asks how we met, and I tell them we never met, I picked her up from a mail order bride website...

Yeah what's funny is as you may know I just started a new job this month. Come to finding out one of my coworkers was a Contractor as well in Afghanistan and Kuwait, so once she heard about me having a Filipina wife she started giving me some #######. She started doing that because she knows how a lot of them throw themselves at any American they can find in hopes they can come to the USA, it's sad but true. It's all in good fun though and we get along good but we still laugh about it. But my wife was the opposite when I met her in Qatar she had to be wooed by me lol.

Edit.... If you find a Pinay that knows about Sarcasm then run the other way.

Especially if I tell them I messed up and accidentally checked the Phillipines box, when I was right beside the Vietnam selection box...  :D

I don't go Vietnam I say Malaysian. Which hopefully I can visit Malaysia later this year if the cards work out.

Yeah, same with my wife.  We met but kept each other at arms distance for a while.   When I finally asked her to go to lunch with me, she said no 3 or 4 times.  I persisted, and she finally relented, but insisted on bringing a fellow Pinay.  She didn't want to give the impression it was a date, lol.

She said I wasn't her type, and she was hoping I'd quit bothering her and go after a couple of her friends who were eager to go out with me (wish I had known that back then!)  She finally caved when I told her I was independently wealthy, tall, and well, ummm... you know...

She knew I was lying about being tall at the time, but I wouldn't let her find out about the other two until after we got married.

Yeah she insisted that we meet at a well known mall in Doha with her cousin(who set us up) and then said preceded to tell me that she does not like white guys. So I kept pursuing her until it worked out.

She knew I was not rich at all and I tell people that when they say that "she just wanted you for the money". I tell them that if she wanted money she could have went back to the Philippines and married her x-bf who is a banana plantation owner in Mindanao.

It was obvious to a Native English speaker but as you know a lot of people coming on this forum are not native English speakers.  @-Trinity- I am not picking on you at all FYI just making an observation but you need to stay CEHST awhile we like you.

Aww, that warms my heart, the feeling is mutual y'all....even Boiler with his cryptic Welsh statements.

And you are right, although I usualy can understand what is been said, sometimes i don't because i...well don't get it.
Sometimes my husband says something and i give him this blank look, which tells him i didn't understand the meaning of what he was saying.
