It is true that immigrants from third world countries mostly try to get there whole village over once they are here. Take fo example the teorrist that smashed into pedestrians in Manhattan . He was really no success story and had absolutey no education whatsoever what do you think his family members are like ?

Like I wrote earlier in this thread, I only disagree about not being able to bring a parent. Not everyone immigrates here from Europe where their folks are taken care of by the system after retirement. In Asia they expect you to take care of them.

 

And as for the terrorist guy, I don't even know who came up with the diversity visas. That should definitely be eliminated.

But what this lady was offering seemed relatively easy to receive. You just need to say that you don't have a house, no income and you will get financial help.

Ok I understand that, but how are lets say chinese immigrants in Canada taking care of there family members in China ? I mean do all parents of immigrants have to come here so that they can live with them here when they are old. I am sure the USD goes a long way in China.

So many immigrants recently that became terrorist and look at what they all have in common . They come from third world countries. Where the way of life and culture is so different they will never adapt to this land its values and people . In contrast to the europeans who arrived that shared pretty much all the same values and religion as the people already here. Its something thats hard to digest because of all this warm and fuzzy talk on MSM and coming from late night show hosts but its the cold hard truth.

 

Its ok for people from all countries to immigrate here, but it needs to be in small numbers so they ADAP and ASSIMILATE to the local people and not build there own enclaves, that start to look like the countries they come from

Tax-wise parents (who are usually 70+ years over) will not generate tax. Children will generate tax in the future (after they start working).

 

Why do US society and welfare system has to take care of people (70+ years) who has never worked for the US and paid $0 taxes?

That's insane, 23 people. I can't even get my family members to visit.

 

But yeah, defenitly something wrong with the system. I'm all for immigration, I do believe that people should have a certain freedom to live where they want to live. Thats how people have been living for thousands of years: migrate from one place to another.

 

That's my idealistic thought about it. On the other hand it's not realistic, and a lot ( if not all) countries have restrictions and regulations.

What about elderly parents coming but not qualifying for Medicaid?

That happens everywhere and during every immigration process. Even the people that scream the loudest that they are opposed to enclaves, eventually look for people they share the same values with.

That's why there is Little Italy, Little China and that's why you are able to eat hamburgers today.
