 Hm, sounds a lot like the pain I had when my gall bladder went bad. I had to have it removed. In any case, get yourself to a doctor ASAP, missy. Only they can tell you what's going on for sure.

Sounds very similar to my gall bladder pain ........ like someone had a rope tied to the mid of chest and was turning it is how i seem to recall it some 30 yrs after the event ......... Gall stones don't necessarily grumble away mine flared up baddddd one day fine next three bad one day and underwent mmajor surgery three days later as they refused to believe I had gall stones cos I was too young. Hey what did they know I had one beaut birds egg sized stone ! If it continues see doc and get it all checked out.

Thanks everyone...I am still in a lot of pain...I know it's stupid, but really really don't feel like heading out to ER at 9:30 pm...but we'll see how it goes. If it gets even worse, I will. Craig just went to bed really early tonight because he had a long day working today and not as much sleep as he usually gets, so he's tired. If it's still really bad in the morning, I am going to have him take me to the ER though. Don't mean to whine, but I can't take *much* more of this.

Thanks for the thoughts/ideas though. M.

wonder if its gall stones? Sounds just the way i felt when i had it.

I didn't have gall stones, my gallbladder was just not working properly. And from your description, it sounds like a visit to a gastroenterologist may be the ticket.

IN ANY CASE, IF YOU ARE IN THAT MUCH PAIN GET TO A DOCTOR ASAP!!!!!!!!!!

this is bullchit..

if you are in PAIN go to the DR even if it is at 9 30pm. dont play with pain!

let me tell you a story. I thought my " PAIN" was nothing serious. girl it was a Tubal pregnacy- the Tube ruptured and i had internal bleeding. little did i know I was even 3 months pregnate. I nearly died on the hall way floor. I passed out from the internal bleeding- granted this pain was in the tummy. but, PAIN is PAIN. dont play with PAIN .. get to the DR.

Michelle, I'm hoping you feel better today and even more so, that you've gone to the ER.

Everyone here is right girl - pain is your body's way of letting you know that something is wrong.

Sounds like gall bladder to me as well --- nothing to mess with.

When they took mine out, I had several hundred gall stones in there, no wonder I felt like #######!

Hope you feel better soon Michelle!

Sorry...I know you're gonna yell at me (hangs head):P

I had every intention of going to the ER...Craig got up about 3am to be with me, we watched some stuff on Tv...and I wasn't feeling too TOO bad then. (Had taken some pain killers...which I know I'm handling this wrong, and you shouldn't try to 'cover' pain!) Anyway, I was so exhausted from not being able to sleep at all the night before and not too much sleep the day before that, that I fell asleep this morning. I did wake quite a few times today, but I got several hours sleep too...and I'm not hurting *nearly* at all like yesterday. So....I will call my regular Dr. right away tomorrow morning, and make an apmt to go to him sometime tomorrow...was trying to avoid the whole ER thing if possible...but I almost did just get up and go several times. If it does get bad again like yesterday, I'll go yet today too....like I told DH...I'm not putting up with one more day feeling like *that*!

Thanks for all the advice (even though I didn't take it!! ) and the thoughts. I'll let you know what happens after I've been to the Dr. and for tests, which I'm sure he'll send me to the lab at the hospital for....M. (F)
