HI every one i am a green card holder for almost 2 years now I'm just wondering if i can start filling for my daughters petition and my grand daughter my daughter is 28 yrs old now and my grand daughter is only 3 months old ,I'm just curious if i need to wit for my citizenship to file petition for them or i can start filling right now ,please let me know where to begin with this long journey thank you so much.

You can file for your daughter now so long as she is unmarried. She must remain unmarried the until you naturalize. The wait is ~7-10 years for a 21+ unmarried son/daughter of an LPR (F2B preference).

If you naturalize, the petition can be upgraded to F1 with ~7 year wait. If she marries after you naturalize (never before!), then it would change to F3 preference (with a even longer wait yet again).

Then just follow the guide above. Her child would be a derivative beneficiary...no need to petition her separately.

Edit: And for reference, you cannot petition a grandchild anyway. They would need to be a derivative (or wait until the parent gets a green card then be petitioned by them).
