Now since i dont have an income because ive been studying, i need to get a co-sopnsor, I have my fainces uncle but some where around i had read that this is a big red flag since is a family memeber of the beneficiary and they may think this is a fruad, ( WHICH IS NOT ) now should i just go ahead and stick with the person i have or still look for someone that can help me,

p.s. i am working i just dont make enough.

Yamilet,

You can review the 'Red Flag' threads here is one example but I doubt an uncle of the beneficiary will be a red flag of fraud, it would actually be natural for a family member to want to help. Now if this family member is repeatedly sponsoring benificiaries..that might..otherwise - in my opinion - it wouldn't be an issue, and it wouldn't surprise me if it happens a lot.

p.s.

I'm assuming you mean I-134.. ;)

Hopefully, they dont. I just ask because since my country is really big on mariage frauds, thats why the backlog is so long, and they might just assume this because is his uncle sponsoring, so they will think ive been set up for this. and god knows i am not. just hope they dont assume this, and go with their assupmtion because i will kick and scream. :jest:

Actually it seems much more acceptable for a family member to co-sponser. Many people have co-sponser's. We did, my now husband is a full time student. Aslong as all the supporting docs is there, it'll be just fine.

I have to wonder if it wouldn't look bad to have the SO from the foreign country having relatives to co-sponsor. I would keep reading and asking for somene who has been there done that. As you said, the marriage fraud in your country...back log...and you dont get a second chance to make a first impression. It could be fine, but I would look for advice from someone who has the most similar case to you as possible.
