My i130 took 9 1/2 months to get approved in Nebraska. At least things have sped up somewhat since then. Khallaf was approved in 8 1/2 months. Unfortunately there isn't anything you can do but wait unless you have an expedite reason.

It takes 9/12 months for you to get back your NOA2 ?

Yes, it took me 9 1/2 months to get my i130 approved. It sounds like Nebraska is slightly faster now with i130's taking under 9 months.

If you take a look at Visa Journey Timelines you can see an estimation of the priority date they are working on: http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/

Right now it looks like they are working on approximately April 18, 2017 applications so you are considered within normal timelines.

Ok. The waiting can be so frustrating.

Many of us who were stuck in Nebraska understand. After about 8 months I was really fed up. Try to hang in there :)

OK. Thank you. I’ll keep updating.

don't forget to create your timeline, this helps others on VJ to best gauge when they might expect theirs to be completed also.

There is also a case tracker app for Iphone that will allow you to search 500 case in and around your same PD to see if they get RFE letters or if they start to get approved.

Good luck in your journey
