Is it okay if my parents go to medical a day before my medical? Or does it have to be a month or week before interview? Thanks

You or your parents can complete the medical a week before, or a month before .. whatever works for them.   Some complete the medical only a couple days before the interview.

I googled that it has more than one meaning.

That is the problem in Philippines they have way to many spoken languages

Walay Sapayan is Bisaya for Your Welcome, just like Walung Anuman. The Philippines only has about 200 spoken languages while India has around 1400. It's not uncommon in India for someone to go from one village to another and not be able to speak the language. What really gets into my craw is how mainly Tagalogs like to downplay the significance of the languages in the Philippines by calling them dialects. They are not dialects at all but different languages and it drives me literally buang.

Tagalog is the official language of the Philippines .. same as English SHOULD be in the USA.    And there are many dialects in the USA .. the southern drawl  varies by state.

We know that Tagalog is the official language of the Philippines. But the other languages are NOT DIALECTS of Tagalog. That would mean that Spanish and Portegese are dialects as well when they aren't. I can say something in Bisaya and a Tagalog speaking person will have NO IDEA what  I am talking about, I have seen that first hand. If they were dialects then they would be able to understand each other to a varying degree but that is not the case at all.

If I say "I got bit by a dog in Tagalog it looks like this: Nakuha ko kinagat ng isang aso. If I say it in Bisaya it looks like this: Naa ko sa usa ka iro.

I agree,  This is why there is so much confusion in the Philippines and one reason the people can't unite and fight the government.

I spend most of my times in Davao City, and when I go to Manila for example it seems as if there is a lot of miscommunication or people can't understand each other from those two different area.  Manila people can't speak bisaya, and for some reason it seem it seems people who speak bisaya have a hard time translation or understanding Tagalog.

That has always been a head scratcher for me.

Just when you think you have TDS eradicate,  a new case shows up.

For me bisaya is much easier to understand vs tagalog.

It seem more of the region of Phillippines is made up of bisaya speaking areas., I wish bisaya was the national language instead.

I have seen that as well where I see a lot of Bisaya people can't understand Tagalog to well unless they are OFW's and then they pretty much have to learn to speak it well to talk to other Kabayans. But when I am in Mindanao I hear FAR more English being spoken out in the provinces than I ever hear Tagalog. My asawa and I tell our nieces/nephews to learn how to speak English better so that they can find better opportunities abroad. I also find that a lot of people in MM don't know and don't care to know any other language of the Philippines, that may just be my opinion but that's what I see.
