i will try to make this short ...

i have lost my passport with my I-94 (due to robbery) but for some strange reason i did take out the green slip (departure record) that was attached in my passport. now i am getting ready to file for AOS with my new passport and in the petition I-130 there are questions about I-94 ... i am not sure if this is what they are asking for and if would it be enough to send in the copy of that or shall i file from I-102 with I-130? and if so do i leave the field regarding the I-94 blank?

please help me with my confusion ... thanks!

hmmm.. I have friend who have forgot to get her 1-94, (she didn't even tried to get it) too but they didn't have a problem with that when they applied for AOS.. she already has her GC after 7months.

For my opinion, I would just make a copy of that one and send it, neeway you have your Anumber with you right?? At least they know that you arrived here and I think you can tell them that somebody stole your passport, if you have a plice report with you or a paper that would show the incident.

MsA,

The "green slip" is the I-94. In this case it's an I-94W - you entered on the VWP, yes?

Sounds like you had some good luck, the green slip is the I-94. You won't have to spend $$$ on the I-102 after all!
