DCF - Australia/Sydney

I know I've probably missed this, but I've looked around and can't seem to find out if we'd be eligible for DCF if my USC fiance and I are married and residing in Australia and obviously meet the other requirements?   

We're talking about him living here for the short term while we have kidlets (Medicare = basically free. His healthcare in the US = minimum $9,000 out of pocket per kid in the perfect circumstances with no complications with birth or bubs) and then moving back to the US.

Assuming the rules don't change, anyone know if DCF is available in Sydney?

Please ignore that last comment. I am an american citizen in australia as well hoping to file via sydney. YES you can do DCF BUT ONLY if you meet exceptional requirements . As stated in the sydney website . https://au.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visas/family-based-immigration/filing-petition-australia-exceptional-circumstances/    MUST BE ONE OF THE FOLLOWING And you must email Sydney embassy and request approval to file through them 

• A U.S. service member stationed overseas becomes aware of a new deployment or transfer with very little notice.
• A petitioner or beneficiary is facing an urgent medical emergency that requires immediate travel.
• A petitioner or beneficiary is facing an imminent threat to personal safety.
• A beneficiary is within a few months of aging out of eligibility.
• The petitioner and family have traveled for the immigrant visa interview, but the petitioner has naturalized and the family member(s) require a new, stand-alone petition.
• The petitioner adopted a child and there is an imminent need to leave the country.
• A U.S. citizen petitioner, living and working abroad, receives a job relocation within the same company or subsidiary to the United States, or an offer of a new job in the United States with very little notice.

I recently received a job offer in the US and emailed them today , Hopefully will be receiving a response soon   Took me over a week to figure out the process since there isnt much info out there for us Australian residents. Good luck

There is no DCF in Australia for everyday cases, and it's only done in exceptional circumstances.
