Hi all, I have just received my naturalization certificate back today, 9/20. 3 days after passport receipt date of 9/17. Tomorrow I am going to the SSA to change my status and then I am officially don

i got email with tracking no and it will be delivered on Monday. I submitted application along with my son, but his status is still processing. Hope they don't ask anything for him.

Does the status ever change when they mail the passports? my status has been in process forever.

 

Also we sent our applications in 1 day apart with my husband, and his application # is 108XXXXXX and my # is 335XXXXXX. Why such a big change in 1 day?

No it doesn't. I received all documents and finished the process but it still shows the status: "Your passport application is in the final processing stages."

However, they will notify you when your passport shipped.

For the number, I don't think it is a numerical order. It might have its own rule. Don't worry about it, you should receive your passport and naturalization certificate very soon. Maximum 3 weeks.

Actually one of the passport was just mailed out on 3rd Feb, I got the tracking update from usps. Yet, the status of both applications still shown as "being processed".

Not worrying about receiving it, just curious how the process work...

I have a question for people who have already submitted their application. Is it a money order for the full amount? e.g. $135 for standard?

No, $110.

The $25 is for the processing facility, such as USPS, the fee is paid to the facility, and should not be included in the check.

Also, you can use personal checks, no need for money order or cashiers check.

Please add us as well.  although Passport received today and they said 2/14/17.  Sign up for the email alerts for the passport.  great communication,.

Sent:  1/29/18.  Cashed 2/1/18.  Trackable 2/7/18.  PP received 2/9/18.

Did not expedite.  glad I didnt pay extra.  It was done in 10 business days...and that included shipping on both ends.   Very impressive.

3/11/04 - Massimo arrived in USA...Hurray!!!

4/25/04 - Happily Married in New Jersey

5/12/04 - starting AOS papers

5/17/04 - Mailed I-485, 131, (certified mail) to Newark

7/12/04 - Biometrics for AOS done in NYC

2/1/05 - received interview letter for May 16, 2005

5/16/05 - Successful (and fast) AOS interview in Cherry Hill!!!

3/1/07 - mailed I751 package to VSC - regular mail

3/7/07 - cashed 205.00 check

3/9/07 - cashed 70.00 biometrics check

3/16/07 - received blue receipt notice for biometrics fee

3/24/07 - received NOA extending GC for another year

3/24/07 - received Biometrics appointment letter

4/6/07 - Biometrics appointment in Newark at 9am

4/7/07 - touched

4/11/07 - touched

9/28/07 - email received...Card production ordered!

10/4/07 - received congratulations letter in the mail

10/09/07 - 10 year green card received
