I think it's really useful. The more data points the better. I basically made a calculated guess on when I'd get my passport using the data points to decide between routine and premium processing.

 

If you work in a data related field you'll find the more data the better.

Hi all, I have just received my naturalization certificate back today, 9/20. 3 days after passport receipt date of 9/17. Tomorrow I am going to the SSA to change my status and then I am officially don

i got email with tracking no and it will be delivered on Monday. I submitted application along with my son, but his status is still processing. Hope they don't ask anything for him.

Mine was shipped from AR (PASSPORT SERVICES/DOS HOT SPRINGS) but the application package was delivered to TX.  Now tracking shows delivery on Monday.

Maybe for you. But for some of us that have been through so much to get naturalized and had to submit our naturalization certificates that is our proof of citizenship and needed to submit the original with the application, for me it was nice to know where my passport application was. That way I know once i get my passport i will have a primary form of identification so if i lose my certificate of citizenship i can still use my passport.

Again, Congrats!

Agree.  It is not over until we receive everything back.  I also applied for the passport card so I (hope) may receive three separate packages.  I heard that the new passport is the only one via Priority mail.  The others are just using first class mails.

Yeah. I will see what gets here today. According to the tracking on the state department both should be here by 7/17. Will see.

I was wondering about that too because mine was tracked from AZ but the address was from SC.

Congrats!  Journey is complete!

I hope to receive me card and certificate soon.

Did they use a large envelop?  It is just 1st class mail, right?

Thanks. It was in a a4 envelope and not folded although i noticed two staple marks on my certificate but my certificate was in the same shape I submitted it in with. :) the passport card was in a first class envelope almost like a new bank/credit card.  Same kind of sleeve as the green card. I am already registered to vote, and just need to visit the DMV and SSA office. 

 

Excited its all done now.
