It's time to start a new thread for people applying U.S. passports in 2018. Good luck everyone.

Hi all, I have just received my naturalization certificate back today, 9/20. 3 days after passport receipt date of 9/17. Tomorrow I am going to the SSA to change my status and then I am officially don

i got email with tracking no and it will be delivered on Monday. I submitted application along with my son, but his status is still processing. Hope they don't ask anything for him.

@zoom123 did you get an email from the Department of State letting you know that your application can be tracked or did you just check the application status portal of their website?

When I submitted the facility gave me a paper with details and how to track. I was checking every day and after 7 days of submission I saw my status as received and under process for routine service etc......

Enter your last name, DOB, last four digits of SSN

at the bottom enter your email and submit, it will send you an email if any update happened.

The format I fixed above is easier for reading and following. I'm not sure why you changed it back. This version is so inconsistent.
