Exactly what I though after we got ours at CVS.. "my background will go longer cause they'll start by checking interpol first 🤣😂

to the op: for passport photos even if it's bad get it from a place that knows how to do it, and be careful about sizes. Some countries may not have the correct size so it may need changes.

As I mentioned in my post the U.K. has photo booths that can do the us size photos

I just had this photo done and emailed to me. Will that grey bar at the side be an issue? It cost me £12.95 from Timpsons. The rest looks fine, but I’m worried about where the background wasn’t wide enough!

As I mentioned in my post the U.K. has photo booths that can do the us size photos. They cost £5

My hometown is tiny and I still know of at least three places that has the booth to get the photos done.

unlike America you don’t have to get it done by a person, here they don’t have photo booths that do the right size, so they can charge more and say it’s about quality and employing people.

I don't think they doubt the trip, but from your passes it looks like you were together once for 5 days (3 full days since you traveled on the first and last days).   You can document that to death, but they want more to show a relationship.  When you met, when you communicate, how often, etc. A span of time.

USCIS does not determine the validity of the ongoing relationship for an I-129F. Sending any relationship evidence is not required...it's just beneficial for the Co to see it before the embassy interview.

Many people have an I-129F approved with only 1 visit. The immediate issue here is the RFE, which is for passport photos and proof of meeting in person within the last 2 years.

I see what you mean.  I misinterpreted it to mean to send in more proof of a bona fide relationship.   However, they will still have to convince the CO a relationship is bona fide...if they aren't convinced they even met, then...I would strengthen it further.  Having met in 2 years doesn't mean an automatic approval.

Yeah, I understand how it was read that way!

And I realise that in the initial i-129f packet, there wasn't a whole lot of solid proof of meeting. I was still in the US with him when we got it all prepared, so I guess I didn't think much of it. However, we found three months of bank statements from my card all from his town dated at the time, the itineraries of all my flights and proof of my payment for them, and we also got some much better passport-style photos taken, so hopefully this RFE will pass quickly! Thank you for the advice!
