Happy your son got some answers, but from what I have read in the past, is that there very well could be a request for DNA evidence, when it comes to child and part, they have to be 100% sure that the two really are child and parent. I know that is going to sound stupid but documents can be forged and when it comes to international documents that are not always written like the american documents. If passport photos were included as well as certified copies of birth records, it would be a guess they are going to ask for DNA evidence.

Or maybe your birth certificate was late registration. If that is so there should have affidavits that testified from your 2 oldest persons maybe your relatives or godparents
