Hello, 

 

I'd like to apply for a B2 visa here in Abu dhabi. I'm a nurse working for 1 and a half year in UAE. My mom and siblings are us citizens. I have been denied once in Philippines. What are the odds for people working in healthcare here in uae?

What are your ties to return home, how long ago did you apply, and - most of all - what has changed since you were refused the visa?

9/5/18: Interview scheduled notice, 10/17/18: Interview

10/24/18: Green card produced notice, 10/25/18: Formal approval, 10/31/18: Green card received

Goodluck.. I was denied twice. First in July 2017 here in Jeddah KSA. this time i have travelled: SG, Hongkong, Turkey, Dubai, France, Belgium & Netherlands.

 

Next attempt: Nov 2017 in Manila during my annual vacation.  This time i have valid UK & Canada visa but havent travelled yet. planning this  April in UK and July in Canada. Then i will try to reapply for the third times..

 

Worst experienced in Manila. The VO just took my passport without even looking even the first page. It only on his table lying.. So he didnt see that I have uk&canada visa. Maybe not all my lucky time those two attempts..

The only way to know it to try, but it sounds pretty unlikely IMO.

You have close relatives to family members in the US (ties to the US), and not many to leave. The job is still "fairly recent" at 1.5 years.

Is your job permanent, that is, are you able to get a letter from your employer stating your position and that you have vacation for x time period and will be returning thereafter?

do you have a signed lease on your accommodatIon that is ongoing beyond your planned vacation date?
