DIFFICULT INTERVIEW, PETITIONER BEEN QUESTIONED ABOUT PREVIOUS MARRIAGES

Hi everyone

So my husband and I had our initial interview last friday Jan 19,2017 at USCIS San Francisco.    It seems like the officer was already convinced that our marriage is real.  Since he didnt ask us for more evidence. He didnt ask us to show our original marriage certificate, and for more evidences.  But the interview lasted for almost 45 mins.   My husband, petitioner, was questioned about his previous marriages.

My husband married was twice married before me.   He both filed petition for the ex wives.   He filed a permanent resident petition for his first ex wife in the Philippines.  The officer said that the first wife visa got approved but later on her visa was revoked .   He divorced her since it was long distance relationship and lack of communication (2006).

So my husband, married his 2nd wife on 2007 who happen he met her here in US.  He filed for AOS for his 2nd wife, later approved and got her naturalization in 2012 /2013.   The marriage didnt worked out and this cheated on my husband and left him on January 2013 taking all their savings.

Now, the IO might be thinking that my husband commited a fixed marriages but we swear he did not.   It was also the reason why even I met him on 2013 and started living wth my husband on 2014, we take our time to get to know each other first and also to prove to my husband that I loved him not bcos of the greencard.

The officer, keep questioning my husband abt his first marriage, which he already forgot most of the info about his frst wife since it was long time ago and its a long distance relationship.

I wonder how these will affect our petition.  I know that the IO believed that my marriage to him was real.  but he said that he will need to see ifmy husband is still eligible to petition.   Im so confused....  and sad at the same time, because I want my husband to go with me in the Philippines if my AOS will be rejected.

He didnt mention if we need to have a 2nd interview.

:-(

If the person interviewing believes that it is a real marriage then I dont see there being too many issues. But petitioning for 3 women in roughly 10 years is going to raise some red flags within USCIS. If you have the required docs proving your marriage was legitimate then I dont think you should stress out about it too much. They have a job to ask questions on such things, it doesnt mean that they are considering rejecting your application.

thank you.  i know it is the IO's job.   He didnt ask for more evidences during the interview, snce I almost sent everything to them.   He didnt even ask for the original marriage certificate.
