Hi, I married my wife in March 2017 and overstayed my student visa less than a year because we failed to file AOS on time.

Anyway, finally we are sending out our application this week to receive a temporary green card, can I apply for I-751 before March 2019 (2 years of marriage) or do I have to wait until my temporary green card expires?

Thank you.

Thank you.

It will be two years from the GC anniversary date (once you receive it) less ninety days.  Not the wedding anniversary date.

Good Luck!

You file I-751 no earlier than 90 days before your 2-year green card expires. It has nothing to do with your marriage date. AOS is taking about a year, so this time next year you should be getting your 2-year card. 90 days before the expiration date on the card (sometime late 2020) you will file I-751 to remove conditions.
