Seems Safe to Include G325-A with I129F. Agree?

I apologize for raising this because it seems this topic has been beat to death. Apparently the new I129F does not require form G325-A. However, I read that some people have received RFE's for not including it even though they sent the new I129F. I plan to go ahead and send them with my application. Has anyone gotten an RFE for INCLUDING G325-A with the new I129F? It seems like the safest approach.

Why would you get an RFE (Request for Evidence) for submitting evidence that is not required?

YMMV

Why answer a question with a question? If you can’t answer then don’t.

We filed around the time the G-325A was made obsolete but I included it anyway because it can’t hurt to include it. If they need it they’ll keep it and if they don’t they chuck it. Since it does not require a lot of effort I would consider just including them, especially if you’ve heard of other filers getting RFE’s. Good luck.

You get RFEs for things they need which you don't submit, not things which you submit that they don't need.

An RFE literally stands for a Request for Further Evidence.

I agree with your logic but I read a post where someone did get an RFE with the new I129F for not submitting G325A's. I can't find it now.

You won't get an RFE solely for including an irrelevant document...although sending a slew of unnecessary documents may just frustrate the IO into sending an RFE for what he/she actually wants instead of reading through everything.

At the same time, it's like sending a birthday card from your aunt when you were 10 years old. They don't care and won't use it. The G-325A isn't required or used. Trying to send them information in anticipation of a (very uncommon, at best) mistake is not a fruitful endeavor.

OK that makes sense. Also, the only G325A form on the USCIS site that I could find shows that it expired on 6/30/2017

There is your sign that it is no longer required

YMMV

Recent 129f form contains questions about biographic info, that previously needed to be filled in G-325A. I used new form, and I did not get RFE. I hardly believe somone got RFE for this reason. Don't include what is not necessary. The packed itself with all the attachments will be big enough ;)

This person got an RFE even though they used the new forms :

That person filed almost 7 months ago in June 2017.
The G325a form expired end of June 2017.

Seems like an honest, easy to make mistake from the AO that they may have believed forms submitted in June still required it.

You don’t need to send biographic forms with the new 129f. Sending more stuff with your petition just makes it take longer to go through. More paperwork for them to analyze.
