Hi everyone. I feel like i've exhausted all my options so now I'm turning to this appreciated community who has been helpful to me in the past.

My wife arrived here in April. I had moved in the process of all her paperwork so when she arrived, I called USCIS and asked them about changing my address so that we would receive all mail to our new address. The rep on the phone told me to go online and change the address. I went and did that. Then some time after I completed the paperwork for her AOS. She did her biometrics on Sept 1st. A couple months had passed and I went online to check the status of her case and it said "Notice Was Returned To USCIS Because The Post Office Could Not Deliver It". There is a link to request a copy of the notice "immediately" (haha what a joke). There was also a link to change the address. I went to both links, changed the address AGAIN and requested an "immediate" copy of the notice..which is a joke, because they said I would expect a response almost a month later.

So I have been waiting and waiting, and I have received nothing from them. I finally called them and we talked to someone and they said that they dont see anything pending and that we just have to continue waiting. I said that we requested that notice and the date which we should have heard something by came and went. The lady said that it had not been 30 days yet so she couldn't do anything. It was 28 days at that point. (why not just give me the 30th day date on the email then? sorry just venting)

Anyways, something just feels off. February 1st will have been 5 months since she did her biometrics. Is anyone else waiting this long? I feel like USCIS dropped the ball numerous times during all this. why did they sent the notice to the old address when all over the AOL paperwork the new address was listed? and is it normal for them to say they will respond to your notice request and not respond? I just feel like we're in the dark and because of the fact they dropped the ball couple times not, I have no faith in them and feel like something is outstanding but they're just not following through on their end.. Has this happened to anyone else on here?
