My dad just got a letter asking for "additional information" requesting for form I-693, Report of Medical Examination and Vaccination Record

This form was summited from the beginning and it was filled by one of the doctors listed on the uscis website,

  • why could they be asking for it again? :(
  • should we try a different doctor from the list or go back to the same one? it would be annoying to pay again, but whatever is necessary!

They expire one year after being submitted to USCIS.

damn, seems like thats their fault not the applicants, his case was summited on December 2016 and after all this time he just got his biometrics and after that a work permit, that is going to expire soon. No interviews no nothing til this letter. does is sound normal?

It is their fault.

This is the reason it's recommended here to delay the medical until just before your interview, so you don't have to do it more than once.
