What is the right date?

Hi Vj forum!

I came here on a fiancee visa(I 129) . I have applied for ROC and am waiting for the permanent GC. My conditional green card says

 

Card expires 06/10/17

Resident since 06/10/15.

Married since Nov 27 2014

 

Am I eligible to apply for citizenship under the 3 year of marriage to USC? If so, when is my Early filing date? Yes, I know about the calculator but if you guys could give your inisight, that would be awesome. Thank you so very much.

You mus have been an LPR while married to a USC spouse for 3 years. You may have been married for longer, but you will not have been an LPR for 3 years until 6/10/18.

 

You can file up to 90 days early.

Pardon my ignorance:unsure:, So does that mean June 10 minus 90 days? Would that be 03/12/2018?Thank you all. Sorry again , I am a very slow learner:mellow:

Correct.

 

That said, ROC must be completed before you can actually naturalize. If you file and ROC is not completed yet, they will likely adjudicate the I-751 and N-400 together.

Thank you so much! Also any input whether the filing of N400 parallel to  unprocessed ROC is slowing it down or makes no difference in light of the recent shift in frame of immigration related events? Thank you so much again.

The general thought is that filing for naturalization helps prod USCIS into making a decision on ROC faster, or otherwise getting to both of them in a more reasonable timeframe (it's taking over 12 months on average now).

Also I recommend you apply online as that seems to be quicker with the benefit of any notices being available online.
