I think that the only people who got interviews so far are adjusting from K-1. Thank got my expedited EAD was approved. I am not hoping to get an interview until later this year even though my office is supposed to be one of the fastest. It has been 4 months and they don't even have my file in the field office yet. It is accumulating dust somewhere on the bottom of the box in NBC and will be well forgotten until someone accidentally discovers it.

I hope so. To be honest I am not in any rush at all, it is just that being in this without status loophole is annoying in many ways. Uncertainty is what gets me. Just wanna be over it :)

This morning I saw one person got approved for the GC. She entered as F-1 and her status went expired in 2016. Her PD is January 2018 from Houston Texas, one of the slowest field office. Starting to wonder if the speed were determined by the expiration date of i-94...

10 yr GC approved 06/02/2021

I have heard someone else mention something like this before. What is with i-94 that may be speeding up the process? Is it good if you have it expired or not? Mine still says D/S and it always has.

I guess some people with expired i-94 gets interview way faster than those who were under valid status. There used to be an article saying USCIS will try to process the new expired immigrants first as means to clean out the "messy pile of untouched paper". I might be wrong though.

Hello guys, quick update:

Yesterday I got an email letting me know that my EAD is being produced. Yayyyy thanks God, I was jumping up and down like a kid. When I checked online, only the egov case status website updated, nothing on the DHS website. PD Jan8th, it seems they are going thru January at a decent pace seeing updates for other Jan filers.

Then today afternoon around the same time I got another email and text messages that there was an update on my AOS, I checked and my interview has been scheduled, Alleluya! Now time to get ready for it, while waiting for the letter.  Same here, no update on the DHS website but the egov case status did update.

I had some doubts about the I-94 theory, I believe Chicken7585 said something about it, but I believe it now. My I-94 is actually expiring today and they approved my EAD yesterday, I would not have been out of status officially but in a situation with no real status, in a dark hole lol.

To other January filers, yours is coming soon, from the way they work, in the next few weeks I think.

There seems to be lots of Raleigh filers on VJ :) we should all hang out as our AOS applocations are pending lol. If you filed in Jan then your EAD is probably going to get approved very soon anyway. Best of luck!
