WASHINGTON — The latest attempt by some Republicans in Congress to discredit the Trump-Russia investigation has been embraced by Russian bots and trolls on social media.

At issue is a classified memo written by House GOP staffers that purports to describe abuses in FBI surveillance practices, but has been denounced by Democratic lawmakers as deeply misleading.

House Republicans have described the revelations in the memo as "worse than Watergate," and are demanding its release. The story is getting major coverage by right-leaning news organizations, including Fox News, Breitbart, the Washington Examiner and the Daily Caller.

Who said I was opposed to it's release?  Release away.

 

What  is proven is that BOT  accounts with connections to promoting Kremlin interests retweet select hashtags and urls  which coincides with news stories on Fox and Breitbart and articles on zerohedge and daily caller. 

 

This happens on a regular basis with topics that protect Trump or  dengrate he percieved opponents.

 

Last week it was Oprah. This week it is the Nunes report.

Why do the Dems call it misleading?  Maybe there is something to it?

Proof?  Btw, I guess misusing the FISA court is of no concern.  Regardless, this is not surprising given the previous administrations usage of the IRS and the DOJ for political purposes.

The point is : week after week what the bots churn out gets posted in forums like this 8 hours later, the Kremlin says jump and Trump devotees say how high.

 

What us holding up the release? The Democrats? The media? If Nunes produced the documents why doesn't he publish them?
