How many times have you met?

He is in China. And i just got back from China. I file my I130 in April. And I still did not receive approval letter. I wish my husband can care bout our case just like you care about yours. I mean he does care. But He knows nothing about immigration. I went to China 5 time in 2 years. Since i am s student. And i know how hard it is to live separate from spouse. It affects me a lot. Every time i came back from China. I will book my next flight immediately. I can't image if I were you, 6 years. It's a long time and I hope CO can understand it too. I really want to ask them how many 6 year does someone have in life.

Best wishes for you

Do your part and God will does the rest.

We have met just once and we got married when we met because the consular ask us to do that when they denied me on the k1 visa because we have not met before she file for it just because she was so sick and she can't come by then Okay.  I don't think the how many time we have met matters to them since we have married Okay.

First application was a K1 / they could not appeal

we need to know what country / embassy you will go to

very important

and yes,  most of the time the age difference is an issue and may require several applicaitons and proof to get a visa approved

you need several visits for many embassies to approve like ours

all i can suggest for this interview is to be well prepared / some embassies don't look at the emails or chats / they look at your honesty

quick response to simple questions like "what is her favorite color?" / they can ask the stupidest of questions like they asked my husband what color was my carpet / he did know i just put in hardwood floors

be confident that you know her well

be prepared to show love and be responsible for her feelings

know what future plans you have like will you study or work here in the USA

Well it matters in fact, even if you are married. Many couples were denied at the interview  after being married.

I know what you mean by true love, and what is being separated from the person that you love.

But the Consular officer won't care about that, you need to actually provide enough evidence of the marital union, and evidence of bonafide relationship, and all the opinions and questions you had received in here are very important if both of you want to be prepared for the interview.

So I suggest you to mention the country for example, and to list what kind of evidence you are taking with you to the interview. In that way you will receive more appropriate and helpful opinions.

Don't be scared, but Lagos is a very very tough embassy.

I recommend you to read all the reviews in visajourney for that consulate.

Is good that you can show proof of communication since the start of the relationship. Take with you not just the pictures of the wedding, but apictures of both of you together in both visits, with the receipts and passport stamps. The marriage certificate is important, but is not evidence of bonafide marriage.

Joint bank accounts are good evidence in case you have it.

I have a joint bank account with my wife.
