Good morning to you all,  please I want know some thing quickly as my interview is getting closer.   Me and wife as being dating now for six year,  she was so sick by 2014 and she needed me to be with her because she can't come to meet me before filing the k1 visa,  so she went ahead and file the k1 with Uscis with enough proof that she can't meet me before filing.  And the Uscis approve it and send to NVC with know wasting time the NVC sent here and  I went for the interview 2015 but to my surprise the consular said me and my fiance have not met,  I explained why and tell the consular about how she send proof to USCIS but the Consular insist,  she said the law covering k1 stated that we must meet each in person  before filing.  So I was denied, I prayed for my wife illness and she was okay and with God help she came last year December  and to God be the glory we got married 01/25/2017 and this present January will make it a year,  and now we have filed and being approved with cr1 now my interview is very close here.  My question is this.  Would they complain about our age difference or would they say she only came once.   Am 38 years of age.  And she is 59 years.  But I believe age is just a number,  we love each other so much.  Or should I ask her be here with me for the interview but they always say the Petitioner can not attend the interview with you.  Please I need a quick response

Sometimes, depending on the country.  For African countries I have read that the woman being older is a red flag.  In your favor is that you aren't 22, but a mature man.

I went to my spouse's interview even though the website said I couldn't.  If she is able to travel to go but understands that she may be turned away, I would try it.  Best to check the Consulate reviews for your country for a better idea.  Google Visajourney + consulate reviews + your country name.

Age is not the issue, validity of the relationship is.

We have being dating for 6 years now and we got married when we were 5 years.

have you try to hire a lawyer though?

I mean, have many time did you guys meet each other during the 6 years period.

and my question is that how can you proof your relationship?

when your first interview was rejected, did you hire a lawyer?

it is a bit difficult if you did not appeal.

however, how did you meet her, and where? online?

there is too much detail you have to consider!

better to fire a lawyer!

this is just my personal opinion, coz one of my family member went through the same thing!

the consular was shocked and my lawyer also told me that it is very important that your answer and your wife's explaination letter about your relation match perfectly during the interview...so, just mind that!

throw all then evidence to CO...

best wishes for you!

true love will last forever!

No, what I meant to say is that my lawyer told me before you go to interview your wife will have to write a letter to them and explain how did you guy met or some details. My lawyer said that the answer your provided during the interview has to match the letter that your wife wrote to them. I knew how it feels a true love got rejected. It is so crazy that someone else has the authority to make you guys live separately. And my lawyer also said that the consular is more likely to look at your recent email because they have to make sure your relationship is current. So just put the very recent emails on the top. And talk to your wife if she remembers she had wrote a letter to them or not. I am not sure if the letter is required or not. But My lawyer said in my case, as long as my words march my husband's answers to the CO. I will get the visa for sure.

I hope it helps.

Best wishes.

Could be a language issue but I thought you had only met once?
