How to interpret this (EAD expedition)?

I just saw an April filer on another forum who just got approved recently: I thought he was kidding!

Did you get your congressman involved, contacted the Ombudsman etc??? There is no way you should still be waiting for your work permit??? How do you not go nuts?

I wonder if @AskerBRfromAZ and I have the same officer working on our cases....

 

My worst fear is to have to wait for 1.5 years: I saw one person like this on VJ here.

I'm not totally nuts yet, lol. I did send an e-mail to my congressman, but no answer yet...

My local office is in Phoenix, AZ. Where is yours?

Call USCIS.  A tier 1 officer will answer......ask to speak with a tier 2 officer..........they might transfer you or they might schedule a call-back....good luck!

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..
