Hello guys,

I need some help from people who went thru the same or can give me some advice about the following:

Im about to remove the conditions. I 751

Im divorced and i see here that its good to send personal statements with it. Now i am seriously having a hard time figuring out what to do.

1. Check the box, that says that i entered the marriage in good faith but it ended with a divorce OR

2. Check the box, that says that i entered the marriage in good faith but i was battered by my spouse

The reason why i don't know what to do is because I have evidences that our marriage was entered in good faith. Pictures, letters, before the marriage. Of the wedding, honeymoon, emails from in laws, from friends and also pictures, during the marriage. But i also have evidences of what i went thru and why our marriage ended.. photos of me and my bruises, video of him admitting what he had done but i dont have police records or medical records since i was in a dangerous situation where i was so brainwashed i was threatened scared to ask for help. I divorced and never talked to him again he tried to harass me but i cut off every communication with him.

So in my statement should i leave out the abuse or what should i do?

Also do i check the box divorced or single?

Thank you for any answers.

If you check off the abuse box you have to prove both that you entered the marriage in good faith AND that you were abused. Simplify and go with just divorced.

Also, you are not single, you are divorced.

Thank you for your comment. Okay so you would just simply not even write a long personal statement?
