Just got off the phone with Tier II.  They say 2 days ago they sent out a request for initial evidence.  I'm not sure what that is but it is some real information for a change.

I know. It's weird.

 

I think they will be pushing out a lot of June RFEs in the next few days as a way to give themselves more time.

They waited till the last day to give us our RFE.

I was originally told I would have an answer by February 8th on my inquiry.  I just got an email that I will get a response by February 20.  Well, at least USCIS has moved beyond June 1...

PHILIPPINES ONLY!!!  CFO (Commission on Filipinos Overseas) INFO - Can't leave home without it!

 

PDOS (Pre-Departure Registration and Orientation Seminar) is for ages 20-59.  Peer Counseling is for 13-19 years of age.

It is required to have the visa in their passport for PDOS and Peer Counseling.

 

GCP (Guidance and Counseling Program) is for K-1 Fiancee and IR/CR-1 spouse ONLY.

I just called to ask if they received or any update on my case since I sent the response on Jan 24th to RFE. 1st they tell me 60 days, then they say it Does not affect my processing time. And I am now outside processing time and i.shpuld get a response to the imquiry within 30 days... they have different answers for everything

Have you submitted an inquiry since they’ve changed the date now to June 27?

I'm going back and forth with my lawyer since USCIS told us to wait 10 days after the last inquiry. On the fence about it since, realistically, it doesn't seem like inquiries have really helped anyone on here.

My fiancé just called. They weren’t really helpful.. just said we will hear something within the next 30 days and she sent a note to update our case. At least something... 

 

he told her we are kinda getting nervous cause of our wedding date etc. 

 

do you think it makes sense to call in a few days again? 🤔

06/18/2017   sent I-129F

06/22/2017   NOA1

01/02/2018   RFE was send

01/08/2018   Hard copy in the mail 

01/13/2018   RFE sent back 

01/18/2018   RFE recieved

01/24/2018  NOA2

XX/XX/2018 NVC recieved

I tried to see if I could submit an inquiry online and wasn’t able to...says I have to wait 30 days since my last inquiry...so my visit to the field office last week counted as an inquiry (as I suspected). So, sounds like more waiting ahead!

I think it has to do with them opening Pandora's Box by changing the "processing date" online.  There are a lot of petitions untouched that filed before June 27.

Yep.  All of them are canned answers.  It is rare to get someone to actually look into things for you.

Got approved on the 16th January 

I called today the NVC just out of curiosity and to know how it will work next time I would have to call them.. And SURPRISE, they got my NVC number !! 

They said They received it last friday 26 january.. So this is 10 DAYS total after USCIS approval !! 

 

Ok, now things go so fast I was not ready ! 

 

For people still waiting for NOA2, think that at soon as you get your Approval the rest will just flow !  We here together !
