June 12 NOA1

Tier 1 let me put an inquiry on Friday.

All of this is feeding into my paranoia about being denied.

Has any of the Canadian folk received their NVC yet?

If so, what does the appointment timeline for an interview look like?

We are in the same boat here...another Canadian waiting for NOA2 and trying not to get paranoid!

Sooooo...after all the ####### we sent, we ended up getting an RFE.

It's probably for my birth certificate, which I don't have.

So this will be fun.

Are there scary reasons to get an RFE?

I'm so afraid of getting denied or them asking me for something I don't have.

Did you just get notified?? Electronically or in the mail?? I’m sure it’s something easy to fix

Electronically.

We got the text and the email. It also updated online.

I hope it's an easy fix too.

Now i'm anxious about getting the letter. I hope it comes soon.

Don't be heartbroken.  As we have seen here time and time again, most RFEs seem to be things you already sent... it is FAR more likely that its an easy fix than something terrible, so just rest assured in the fact that once it is fixed, your approval is coming soon after - its much better than limbo, not knowing if your case even exists anymore or got sucked into a black hole.

No clue.

Is the only way to find out through the letter?

Can we call and find out what it is?

They won't tell you. You have to wait for the letter.

I have my NVC number and invoice number, but after having my fiance call I've been told that in order to do the medical we will need the actual physical paper from the NVC. ):

My fiance doesn't want to book anything until we have that paper, either. (We got the NVC number on Friday the 26th). There is currently a 2 week wait for the medical, a 10 day wait for the police records, and the interview says they only have a week wait. In order to book the interview we would need our DS-160 number.
