Just got off the phone with Tier II.  They say 2 days ago they sent out a request for initial evidence.  I'm not sure what that is but it is some real information for a change.

I called at 9am this morning and booked my medical - she said they are currently a couple of weeks out, but they had a cancellation so I managed to get one for a week today.  

Just thought I'd let you know the kinda lead time on the medical (I booked with only my LND case number from NVC - can't book the actual embassy interview yet though - I TRIED!!! LOL)

My fiance booked his interview on Feb 13th! From what we saw, the only interview dates are late February (unless some has been cancelled since we've seen them!)

Just manage to book my interview for Feb 27th 08:00 am local time :D 

 

They had available for Rio embassy Feb 27th, Mar 6th, 20th and 27th. 

 

Will schedule my medical now. 

K1-

Jun/08/2017 - NOA1 - Received text/email

Nov/30/2017 - NOA2 -  Approval date

Feb/27/2018 - Interview - Approved

Apr/13/2018 - POE 

Apr/27/2018 - Wedding

AOS-

May/22/2018 - Package sent - 

Jun/11/2018 - Package rejected due to incorrect Fee

Jun/21/2018 - Package sent (again with the correct Fee)

Jul/08/2018 - NOA1

Mar/27/2019- NOA2 (interview scheduled for May 1st)

May/01/2019- Interview - Approved

May/02/2019- New card is being produced

Tier 1 let me put an inquiry on Friday.

All of this is feeding into my paranoia about being denied. 

 

Has any of the Canadian folk received their NVC yet?

If so, what does the appointment timeline for an interview look like?

Did you do all of this after the nvc email with the case number or you got the number only through the phone?

I got my NVC number on Jan 25th and only today I could schedule the interview (4 days)

I got the number calling them. (+1-603-334-0700 option 1 - 5 )

Hello, I am new to the forum. I filed for my fiance on June 2017. Received receipt on June 25 and no updates on the website. On January 19th 2018 I received a RFE due to not stamping the photos, we have a child together and submitted his birth certificate and still wanted more evidence. The website does not changed and o sent back the evidence needed the next day. Does anyone know how long will this extent the process?

My fiancé and I we speak everyday via Whatsapp and Gchat, sometimes Messenger. I was wondering how can i use this data to provide Evidence of the relationship between us. 

 

I already printed the pictures from our 3 trips together and I have the boarding pass and also my passport stamps. 

 

What else should i bring to the interview and how can i colect this data? because we have a huge ammount of info.

You can have several screenshots of your Whatsapp Chat, showing different dates.

Sooooo...after all the ####### we sent, we ended up getting an RFE.

 

It's probably for my birth certificate, which I don't have.


So this will be fun.

 

Are there scary reasons to get an RFE?

 

I'm so afraid of getting denied or them asking me for something I don't have. 

 

I feel like throwing up.
