Does anybody ever made a change of address on USCIS website or on the phone ?

1 - Did you get a confirmation number about this change ?

2 - Did you receive any email or mail to confirmed you that this change is effective ?

Thanks

Yes and Yes!

It was super quick and I received a confirmation email soon afterwards.

My fiance did, yeah - he called me screaming down the phone - it was kinda awesome feeling.

Looking to book my medical and interview on Monday so then I'll finally have the end in sight... of course, I feel for those still waiting though.

Actually, I was surprised that the DS-160 required me to electronically sign a statement of intent to marry when I filled it out today - maybe thats why?

FULL SCAN (we are no longer allowed to post WAC numbers on this forum, but you can still get an idea of the general movement on June cases.

We got ours too! I made the fella call them just to see as I'd seen there was someone close to our NOA2 number who got theirs and he immediately messaged back with our number! Cue happy tears, solo victory dance and a large glug of wine. So excited for the next steps!

Hello everyone!!

Hope you had a so so week at least!

And I know for some of us it was THE WEEK :)

I personally changed my wedding date to 2018/8/18 and I feel 1 month lighter :D

Even though days pass slower since 2018 started, I am counting... 85 days to quit...

Hopefully noa2 will come before that!

For June;

we are getting more navy!!!

I kind of believe that 6/19 got lots of silent noa2s.

so in order to check how many days actually didn't have an approval, I made this list of only approvals.

At least for any date that doesn't appear here means silent noa2s came later in the mail. And there are also ones that came from other dates where day both made updates, and sent noa2s without update.

Thank you for putting this together! Although I am happy for the July filers, I wish they would’ve approved more June cases before flying so far ahead on that month. Sigh...Anyeay, hoping the rest of us who are still waiting will get some news next week!

I agree.. I think they're trying to make up somehow about the backlog to make at least general wait times shorter. I have no other idea on why they're jumping.

But as they always do at least 2 months at once, it is exactly the same situation as before. I believe they are trying to do an overall June so they can update the processing times as July1 as of November 31.

Yes to both questions. But the letter needs to be addressed to the embassy this time around. The first letter of intent to marry we submitted was addressed to uscis.

Although taking it from those who were recently interviewed (Dec. to present), they said the visa officers did not ask for it.

It's not mentioned in the embassy checklist though

If you bring exactly what’s on the checklist you should be set.

I would probably bring everything I can think of just to be safe, but really you are required just to follow the checklist.

As it is, I'm having a hard time getting stuff delivered to Tunisia anyway. Nothing like an unreliable postal system!

That's amazing mate, my fiance did the same with NOA 2, had to cover my excitement in front of my colleagues!  And I know, me too, this process really takes it out of you. It's hard when you think every single one of us in this group is thousands of miles away from the person we miss most.

Guys I have a serious question: for the embassy do we have to send another statement of intent? I just signed and dated a copy of the one I sent before and wrote 'reaffirmed' next to it but it's not addressed to the embassy. Is a letter of intent again necessary and if so does the signature have to be a wet one?

Yes as far as I know a fresh statement of intent from the petitioner is necessary, wet-signed and dated within 30 days of the interview. Please do make sure she has it, don't let a piece of paper get in the way of her approval at this late stage of the game!

I'm so excited for you. Good luck! :)
