Guys I am losing my S### today. I can't stay positive at all. I was in the middle of a case at work and was asked a question and my answer was "that is if they let him come here" which had absolutely nothing to do with what we were talking about. I have been away from my home for a few months now for "work" and i can't tell if they had sent me a mail and it is sitting there in my mail box or if the case still hasn't been looked at. I just can't do this anymore. What do i do? I catch myself feeling envious of other couples around me (which is freaking me the F#@# out). Is this really what it takes to love?

Anyways, there has been a bunch of approvals on this site and i am so happy for you all. I pray they keep working on stuff and making progress.

Today is 6 weeks since NOA2. USCIS sent our petition last week, NVC doesn't have it yet. The lady on the phone said 6 weeks doesn't start from when you get NOA2 it starts from when you get the letter in the mail, which is probably utter rubbish because if it got lost in the mail and you never get it does it mean your six weeks never starts? Lol. Anyway. Government is shutdown so I am sure there is no congressman to contact to look into it for us. Umf. There are Jan NOA2 who already have NVC numbers.  I now know what you Junies who are still waiting for NOA2 feel like. Bittersweet. Happy for them because we are all in the same boat and we all want to be with our significant others but sad because we also want to be with our significant others. I hope everything starts moving faster for everyone. This is so frustrating!! I have gone completely off my mind, probably a good thing he has a calm personality because I don't and this is enough to drive any passionate soul insane. Yeah I probably just needed to rant.

You weren't able to get informed delivery right ? If I remember correctly.

the thing I'm worried is if they sent you an rfe and you didn't even see it..

can anyone check your mail for you? Or maybe you should call and ask if they sent you anything?

Hey Naes, i have been calling daily. I think it makes it worse to hear them tell me that i am within processing time. Today i asked if there could be a possibility that it has been sent by mail and the answer i got was this "if that was the case they would have updated the website to reflect that". But we know that there has not been updates on the site as much.

Too bad i have really short hair, i would have pulled all of it by now.

I understand, believe me! Who is getting your mail for you while you are away? Can someone check it for you?

Yeah that's bs. We all know that.

So do do you have any friends or neighbors that can check your mail?

Im asking this because they sent lots of rfes without updates. And rfe has a time limit. Although it is I believe 84 days and not too short, but you may be waiting for that when it's already in your mail.

its good you have short hair! Don't pull it off!

Ok at least someone is checking weekly.

Now dont worry (even though I know you are and I understand) that list is everyone waiting here. Waiting in the same condition at least. We are not done yet for june. They are definitely not done yet.

I'm sorry that I don't have better answers for it..

In my experience, when they tell you they are doing background checks it means you will hear from them in a week or two tops.

I am SO hoping that’s the case!!!

If they have that information recorded correctly, then you don't need to do anything. :)

Just kick back and join the Cracking Like an Egg Club with the rest of us. :P

But seriously, as long as that information is correct, there's nothing to worry about.

Thank you I appreciate it!

My dear, you have no idea (actually i think you do) how grateful I feel for all the work that has been put into this site. Especially the support. Most times not directly to me but it lifts me up.
