I did my taxes weeks ago using my 12/31 paystub. Getting refund ASAP, i'm not letting the government keep my money in the form of an interest-free loan!

Bad enough I couldn't file as married!

More negative news, I have 6 days to provide 1099's to our contractors.

Geez! George looks like you got a few steps a head of schedule here!, I haven't got my W2 from my work yet.

Really need to get outta though, Blizzard last week was pain in the ###, had to spent 6 hours just shovel the driveway

Just called USCIS. They would not transfer me to a Tier 2 individual until normal processing times had elapsed. Apparently their website shows June 1st, and my case if June 27th, so they told me to wait until February 15th...

Call again and "demand" to speak to an iso. They are supposed to transfer at your request and they will. Be tough with them and persistent! ! :D

I dont think too many inquiry cause any issue ,I think i might have created 10 inquiry didn't impact 1% to our case so don't worry.

Not only me i had congresswomen who did 3 inquiry on my behalf and at the end our case was approved that was the same day when i requested to change address .

I think they looked at my case when i changed my address so maybe you want to change the address idk.

I have put 13. But 2 were put by an agent without me asking them to do it. I feel like they will deny me for annoying them. Lol.

In my experience, when they tell you they are doing background checks it means you will hear from them in a week or two tops.

Since I found out that beneficiaries can call the NVC, I went ahead and called a few minutes ago. I spoke with Nancy, I told her I am the beneficiary. After verification, she gave me our case number and invoice ID. She told me they received our case yesterday.

Our NOA2 was dated Jan 8, so that's just like 16 days! I am overwhelmed with how quick things are going now. I'd probably be able to POE with Tony when he visits me from Feb to March. He's probably going to be here for the interview too.

I'm shaking with excitement! :D

P.S. Thanks for letting me know that beneficiaries can call NVC @vocaledge

This is the best thing I’ve heard today! I’m glad Time is picking up... that gives me so much hope 😍

Sorry I’m stressing here but I just over read our NOA1 and you know how it says the beneficiary’s name and date of birth, then below that it says ‘please verify the personal information listed above and notify the USICS national customer service centre at the number listed below if any changes’ did you have to do that to confirm your information when you received the NOA1 or is that if they made a mistake with the name or date of birth?

Yes only if there's a mistake don't worry.

We’ve been sort of feeling like we are stuck in limbo. They requested more fotos and a different copy of my divorce decree. They accepted the RFE response on the 12th, our case was updated on the 19th with no status message and when I called today to inquire they said we need to wait at least 60 days before a decision is made.

I’m not sure what we can do at this stage. My fiancée thinks we should get a lawyer but I am not sure if that is going to do anything more then have me writing checks while we wait.

That's just the longest timeframe they give to people, of it was only updates on the 19th I wouldn't worry yet. Sounds like a normal time line for rfe yet. (Although nothing is normal here)

also dont get a lawyer is my advice. I didn't see them doing one good thing since I started vj (and install everywhere) k1 is a simple visa, so I don't even think they take it seriously and know what to do about it.

Also because you didn't send an attorney at the start of the petition I don't think they can legally do anything but advice.

so here's my advice it's still too early to feel in limbo :)

Okay, I've worried myself that bad, I've been close to throwing up.

So, he's mailed our RFE evidence. Had to put pictures of my passport stamps in but we didn't include another copy of my photo page of my passport. Is that a problem?

So. Many. Bricks. Being. Sh@t.

I sent over a whole bunch of stuff... 😰😰

my stomach has been in knots 🤮🤢🤕 I finally mailed it today. I don’t know what was right and what was wrong so I just put what I though they wanted and made a whole bunch of notes for

them.
