I will pay whatever they want. This is really getting to me today. I think I will stay away until I get into a more positive mood. They say a minimum of 30 days before I hear anything. That will be day 261.

I know now it is their generic response but it still upsets me.

Hey guys, I just got out of American embassy in Casablanca morocco, I filed for a b2 visa while waiting for my k1. And they denied it saying I can't get a b2 visitors visa with already an intent to immigrate to the USA. Well apprently leaving behind my 7 year old son who is also included in my k1 isn't as strong of a tie to my home country. And my petition was approved why would I jeopardise my k1 for a 2 week visit. Anyways this happened today 😄. At least I tried, I just wanted to see my fiance but I guess that's not an option for them.

Ok... I just got off the phone with Tier 2 at USCIS...

I was told that I got an RFE that was issued on January 17th. The person I spoke with was able to tell me that the RFE was not "Typed Up Yet" but she suggested giving it another week before requesting a case inquiry...

Doing the case inquiry now...

The girl I spoke with did not know what the RFE was for, but thank God at least my file was looked at...

Now we need @johnandrose to get the approval NOW!

Congratulations same thing happened with me they told me my rfe was ordered on the 17th and they sent it out on the 22nd so congratulations to the both of us into the many others that's coming behind us it's at a lot of us don't feel the same way like one guy just told me that I'm making more work for the USCIS agents because I left things and I got a rfe but who cares what he say I'm happy that my case was looked at and I at least got to RfE and I'm happy for you too as well. And I pray the others that haven't been touched yet hear something soon

I'm praying for us all

Everybody, I need some advice...

We received our NOA2 last week and my fiance is considering quitting her job soon, because in Vietnam if you are unemployed you are get unemployment and social security paid out to you (even if you quit willingly). She wants to take advantage of that money before leaving, which is totally understandable. I understand you should not make a serious financial commitment before approval, but she was planning on finding a new job if things went awry with the interview (I sure hope not).

My questions is this...does it matter in the interview if she has a job or not? Will it hurt her chances of getting a visa if she is unemployed walking into the interview??

NOA1 - June 26, 2017

NOA2 - January 17, 2018

NVC # Received - January 31, 2018

I don't think it matters to them if she is working or not. Because k1 is you sponsoring her. Good luck for everything.

Nope. beneficiary's employment doesn't play a role as far as I know. I'll also quit my job around my noa2.

@Lisa & Jorge I received and RFE requesting evidence we have met in person and a non diclosure for marriage broker thing.

I’m loosing my mind here and think I have too much info on what I intend to send.

When I met Atti, I had no intention on filing for a K1, we met to just meet and I didn’t save the boarding pases. He is from Hungary but we met up in Denmark. There are really no pictures but like three we took together in Denmark and three in Hungary (there are more pics,  but not of us more of him or me or scenery) Jesus.... who thinks of this!!!  I have stamps on passport from both trips but I guess they want me to detail how, and where we met so I have written up a page and a half of detailed account on what we did. Passport stamp is for Denmark and of course I later visited Hungary but that wouldn’t count for USCIS ughhh (should I still submit that? Plus I have this beautiful letter I worote to his mom when I realized I wanted to steal away her son lmbo 😂😂😂 Im not very romantic so when ever I have those moments I have to take advantage of them lol. I was thinking maybe I include that letter. I also have receipts for wedding venue and wedding dress. What should I send???!!!!! 😰😰😰😰😰 I just want this to be approved and I can have my Atti Home 😭😭😭😭

I would include any info you have of meeting him within 2 years of filing.... so if Denmark was before you filed, include it.  I would include the letter too, it shows authenticity.  I would include receipts for wedding venue because it sounds like they are questioning the validity of the relationship as much as you actually meeting in person..... I never received a marriage broker thing and idk what that even is..... can you take a photo of it and reply to this thread. that's crazy... I would send as many photos you have together as you possibly can and date them ( I seriously just wrote the date on the back of mine bec they didn't print with a date that they were taken) I submitted a copy of boarding passes and passport stamp and a letter detailing the trip. I think your page and a half letter should suffice too..... let me know :-)
