Send only what they ask for.

I would send additional photos ( whatever you have, any thing - I sent photos from the same visit - we only met in person once- I just sent MORE and they accepted them)

I would update the intent to marry with a more recent date

- My RFE was that  I had to send proof we met - so I copied my airline boarding passes and the stamped page of my passport and sent some more photos, I also wrote out a 1-2 page detailed itinerary of how Jorge and I spent our time together from the date I arrived until I boarded the flight back.  they accepted my info in less than week after receiving it

I hope this helps girl... I thought I was gonna get hit for forgetting to include enough passport photos but my advice is to ONLY send what they ASK for.

good luck girl and let us know what your RFE is for.

@Lisa & Jorge I received and RFE requesting evidence we have met in person and a non diclosure for marriage broker thing.

I’m loosing my mind here and think I have too much info on what I intend to send.

When I met Atti, I had no intention on filing for a K1, we met to just meet and I didn’t save the boarding pases. He is from Hungary but we met up in Denmark. There are really no pictures but like three we took together in Denmark and three in Hungary (there are more pics,  but not of us more of him or me or scenery) Jesus.... who thinks of this!!!  I have stamps on passport from both trips but I guess they want me to detail how, and where we met so I have written up a page and a half of detailed account on what we did. Passport stamp is for Denmark and of course I later visited Hungary but that wouldn’t count for USCIS ughhh (should I still submit that? Plus I have this beautiful letter I worote to his mom when I realized I wanted to steal away her son lmbo 😂😂😂 Im not very romantic so when ever I have those moments I have to take advantage of them lol. I was thinking maybe I include that letter. I also have receipts for wedding venue and wedding dress. What should I send???!!!!! 😰😰😰😰😰 I just want this to be approved and I can have my Atti Home 😭😭😭😭

Oooh! Okay then goodluck for tomorrow. We called NVC today they said they expecting to receive it by end of day tomorrow, that was kinda weird. I am in Auckland, what did you mean by asking for an earlier interview? Did you book yours online or did you call or did they send it to you in the mail?

So after you return the packet 3 documents to them (either by post or by dropping it off at the embassy), they'll send you your interview time via email - or, at least, that's how ours was assigned.  In any case, they choose the date for you and notify you; you don't get to choose a date.  He dropped his documents off on Monday morning and had an interview time on Wednesday morning.  He replied to the email assigning him February 15th asking for an earlier time...and they gave him one.  Neither one of us thought it would work!  Maybe they had a cancellation or something.

My fiancé was already in contact with them via email asking for packet 3, so I'm not sure if that's the first time they had his email or if we'd provided it on a form somewhere.   If you want to get in contact with them, email AucklandIV@state.gov with your case number in the subject line.

Good night everyone, so we got our NOA 2 paper copy today. The approval date in it is January 17 while on the USCIS/ case tracker its January 18. The letter states that it has forwarded our petition to the beneficiary embassy. so just to make sure .... Is this what all NOA2 paper copy states. Also its states that the approval notice is valid until May 2018. Have anyone ever had their approval expired on them and what happens if it does?

Congratulations

some noa2s say embassy however all cases goes to NVC. We don't know why they just can't stick with a template...

you need to schedule the interview before the expiration date. If can't you can ask for an extension from the embassy.

Hello everyone so we got approved on January 20th 2018, and i received the i-797 today. I was expecting to see that it was transferred to the NVC however it states it was already transferred to Consulate of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. It also requests that i contact the consulate for any additional questions.

So i guess i am either confused or overthinking it, does this mean it left the NVC already and we just have to wait for the interview, or is the normal wording for this form?

Hi,

This has come up multiple times on here, @Jay & K just posted the same question.
