I knew we had a great case given our child and 5 years living together, but still, I felt the knots in my stomach. Talking to @JRLee helped me not think about it a bit, thanks mate for the needed distraction. 

 

Went up to interview. Either I would leave smiling or chairs would be flying....before the interview started the officer says "well, this is gonna be quick" and the nerves went away.

I'm glad it was quick and the embassy still stands in one piece! I mean people still need it....(but can't stop imagining the flying chairs)

Everyone after you didn’t go well, only 804 and 805 got approved and 806 and 807. 

 

We got approved, only took about 10 minutes just like you! But the waiting is killing us, we didn’t have our interview for another 2 hours after you left. Going back on the 9th for our visa!!

Hey all! Just wanted to pop in and let everyone know Paul passed his interview last week! We haven’t sat down together to share a more detailed review of the experience, which we will before I leave, but I wanted to post something before then. His papers from the medical hadn’t arrived yet (he had it just the week before), but they told him everything else looked good and they just had to wait on that, so they went ahead and took his passport. We found out they received his papers on Tuesday so we’ve been checking the status of his case this week to find out when it’s been updated. So hopefully the visa will be on its way soon!!!

 

We’ve been super busy while I’ve been here doing so many things, mostly of course celebrating, so we haven’t had a chance to sit down and reply folks on here. We will be sharing more detail on our experience before I leave, particularly for our fellow Swedes :), and share some things we found interesting (FYI the American will not be allowed into the embassy with the beneficiary). 

 

Thank you you all for your support! I can’t wait to sit back down at a computer and catch up on everyone’s statuses! I hope everyone is doing well and moving along ♥️♥️♥️ PS Sweden is so beautiful and if you’re ever looking for a place to visit, I highly recommend it ☺️

nvc recieved our case on the 1st of february. my fiance was calling them twice a day after 14 days, they told him many different things like system down, we are working on it now, the next day there was a note on it etc... on the 22nd we finally got our case number when he was calling and little later the email. 

it took 243 days to this step!!! 

3 days later it was IN TRANSIT and since the 27th its READY. Im still waiting for my package 3 from the embassy.

I think in Germany i cant book my interview without the mail from them. 

 

but got my medical on the 19th of feb. done already and filled the DS-160 out as soon as we got our case number. 

 

im so ready so get this visa journey done

Thank you so much. I’ve already received notification that they have my response. I’m not sure if there is any tracking of the time between response and approval but it is very exciting now.
