Okay, dumb question time!

I'm filling out the medical questionnaire.

"Have you ever been hospitalised (including psychiatric admission)?"

I was operated on in 2007 for a broken hand. Does that count? Wasn't over night or anything. 10am op, out by 9pm. 😳 It's all there on my paper medical records. 'fracture'... Full on snapped the 5th metacarpal in my right hand 😂 had to have a pin and stitches where it came out my hand. (sorry if you're eating)

Yes - it will count any operations and admissions

Uh oh. Someone did a naughty.

Aaaaaaaaahhhhh... 4 sleeps until my medical. REALLY anxious. I'm covered in tattoos and have piercings... I. Hate. Injections. And. Blood. Tests. 😭😭😭😭😭

I had mine last week. I also have tattoos. Doc touched it and said it was lovely lol. She was a really nice doctor. I work in employment law. She asked what I do, and we spoke about some previous businesses that had been taken to tribunal.

The man who done my Xray was also nice. He heard my midland accent and gave my a history lesson about it. He even came out to have part of the same conversation with my mum, (she came as we wanted to go to the British Museum). The nurse was also nice. She seemed a bit distant, but asked about my wedding and I showed her my dress which she loved.

Honestly, just go in with your usual self and Wear comfortable clothing. The only people who I weren’t keen on were the receptionists. They were rude. No hello, no politeness at all.

As vocal edge stated. I forgot to put that I had my tonsils out as a child, but it was no biggie when I verbally told the doc.

See... Comfortable clothing... I'm a skinny jean, Converse, geek shirt, and hoodie wearer.

Excuse me for asking... But did you have to drop trou? 😳 What did they do for you? I know @vocaledge's encounter. I don't know if the people who sport a gentleman sausage get different treatment from us lady garden sporters. 😳

Lol.

I had on skinny jeans and trainers. Was too cold for my converse.

With the doctor, I stripped down to my undies, then had to wrap a gown around my body.

She checked my heart beat, blood pressure. Moved my legs and asked if I felt any pain. Rubbed from my knees to my feet to see if either leg had a different feeling (odd I know). She checked my temperature and looked down my throat and ears. She also looked at my scalp. Oh she also looked on my skin to see if I had any rashes.

For my xray, I had to remove my top and bra, then wear a gown. Remember to put your hair up or you’ll have to use a clip that’s been in who knows hair. Mine was already in a bun.  :)

Weird question, BUTTT:

What other fees should we be expecting to pay besides the medical.

I was reading somewhere about embassy fees or fees to do the interview?

So i'm confused.
