Well, you can park at my apartment building and I can drop you off at O'Hare.  It is 15 minutes from me.  Also, check Expedia...I've seen $639 RT tickets...

Oh Wow, I might take you up on that offer. Ive been keeping an eye on Expedia. I think if I shift the dates I can get cheaper, but I didn't see anything for $639

Another Junie (that'd be me) just finished my interview with an approval :D

I can't speak for other countries about the sponsor forms, but I can give some info on my experience which may one day help someone.

My fiance (petitioner) isn't currently working as we've been gallivanting around the globe for 6 months and we're in a transitional stage where she gave up her 457 working visa in Australia (back in June 2017) and is waiting to setup our new life in USA before she starts working again. We had a cosponsor as a backup but they didn't even need it!

We had her latest Australian tax return, last 2 payslips and bank statements to accompany the I-134, but I don't even know if they looked at it.

It was all over so quick, in and out in less than an hour with about 2 minutes of that with the officer who decides on the approval, (also a very friendly chap I must say).

Just make sure you have everything requested with the paperwork, especially the AFP police check and not a state one. One person a few people before me was conditionally approved pending the results of federal police check which needed to be mailed to the embassy.

Good luck to the remaining few!

POE 13th March, whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat!? :D

Im guessing my Fiancé was there the same time you were (820am interview)  (he says he was the underdressed one)! He was also approved. Congratulations!!

My fiancé interviewed and was approved in Sydney today!! Seems so surreal that we’re finally to this stage. He’s arriving here march 18 and we’ll be married in March 24! Hope others are getting good news today!

Haha I was in a tshirt and jeans for my 8:50 timeslot. No way I'm wearing a suit for a 2 minute interview with someone sitting behind a glass pane. Unless it's a job interview, I don't feel there is a need to dress past smart casual in Australia. We're laxed as. I even toyed with the thought of showing up in shorts haha.

Congrats as well!

I think they quickly threw together a random RFE to keep @John & Rose from calling them everyday.   :jest:

Hopefully they will process the return document quickly and move him to NVC" and make him their problem.   :jest:
