My employer already said they will not write a letter. Only thing my bank can provide deposits wise is a print out of all transactions but it is not an official document.  I was abroad for a year so I do not have any income from August 2016-July 2017.

That’s strange that your employer refuse to write a reference. Maybe worth putting it in writing to HR.

Hi everyone,

I logged on to check my case this evening and it still showed as Received. I then got an email saying 'Post Decision Activity' and I checked the case again about 10 minutes after I'd already checked it and it says APPROVED!

I AM EXCITED! I didn't expect to get an email because its usually the petitioner (but I signed up to the USCIS Online Case thing and they will email whatever address you put in) so I know before my US Fiance! I cannot wait to Skype with him in an hour!

I'm a happy, face full of tears mess!

To all those still waiting, hold on, even in the darkest moments.

This gives me hope. You are the day before me so maybe we were assigned the same person?

It was HR that I had asked.  They said they could just send me the copy of my offer letter.

Ah, that's a shame. The only way would be with a co-sponsor then I would think...someone more experienced may have more ideas/info.

Yeah sadly a co-sponsor isn't an option for me.  My mom is in rough financial shape after her divorce and I do not have contact with my father

You'd have to get a letter from your employer with what your salary is (or is expected to be), if your part or full time and how long you've been employed. Plus it might not be a bad idea to get a letter from your bank showing the total amount of deposits for the last few years.

Why would it be a bad idea? Wouldn’t the bank statement show where the money is from?

Im a but clueless how to go about it. @Dekd22 May be worth opening a new thread. Where is your fiancé from.

Fingers crossed for you! We've been pending background checks for so long, I was beginning to think that they weren't ever going to chase them up. I really hope you hear something by the end of this week!

What’s wrong with using the offer letter? It will state the day your employment started. Your position and salary. What else do you need on there? My fiancé is self employed so they ask for different stuff.

She is from Brazil which doesn't seem to be insanely strict based on reviews (from what I can see at least).  I mean I have 7 months of pay stubs that now show I have made around 22k or so since starting in July, it is just my tax return that makes it look like I technically make less

I meant to put that it might be a good idea. My eyes are a little cloudy from my crying earlier from my approval! Sorry!

I will remove personal details from the offer letter and show you what I currently have

That’s exactly what’s going on for us! I was told on 1/23 and 2/13 that the security checks are still pending!! Trying not to stress but ugh 😬 Congrats! 🎉

Have you tried searching the forums? There have been others in the same scenario, but cannot remember what was suggested. I think you should open a post on the forum.

You have to be almost ready by now! Unless the US citizen has a really common name it should be super quick to complete, I think they just never chase the FBI and other security agencies up. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you this week too!

Day 256. Still nothing.

We are now on our 260days today. But, we are not stressing ourselves on waiting anymore. We just taking it slowly, enjoying family and friend's company while waiting. Don't worry, our time will come. Just hang in there. We will get through this. Hugs for you!
