You used a lawyer right?

did you check with him about what document was mailed?

my address was wrong so the receipt notice was returned undeliverable. hence the "document was sent" status. The address was mistyped due to the lawyer ironically... its been corrected long ago.

Ok it's good to hear that.

Hope you'll hear something soon it's been really long...

yup even the response to inquiry as why beyond normal processing time stated "45 more days, were working" 45 days just expired so I'm second inquiry in now. everyone at the call center says that should get some actual attention most likely.

I don't think it is that important either for this part of the process. I'm sure many people miss it too...

I didn’t fill it up too. I was reading this article so I wasn’t even sure if it applies to K1 visa

I know in your neighbor Cambodia we have to wait. The place for medical will not accept you without the interview paper from the Embassy.

It may be different in Vietnam. You can just call or email the embassy at this point, I suggest you do that.

I have tried both and it didn't go well. I don't really know why it took them that long to send an envelope

Here's my video journal on the search for my wedding dress. It took several stops but we finally decided to get the dress made.... checkout my search which took place in the TayTay Garment District and ended with at dress fitting with Percy at Carolina's wedding shop at Mega Mall. I hope you like it and thank you so much! I pick up my dress this Tuesday and hope to be in the USA by Thursday this week... I'll see you soon!

Okay, London chapparoos,

How long was it before you could book things like your medical and interview? I'm running blind at the moment. NVC reckon they mailed our paperwork on the 20th of Feb. I cannot get anything on the CEAC page so I don't know where it is, if it is at the embassy, ready, or what.

Who gets these "packets"? I really need to get my ####### (and his) into gear, figure out when to hand my notice in (got to give 4 weeks), sell all my stuffs, sort shipping, would be nice to get cheaper flights etc.. That, and my tenancy will run out soon. I'm beginning to stress out again haha

Hey Junies!!

Not posted for a while, hope you are all well! I had my medical in London Friday just gone. All went well and just waiting for my results now but fingers crossed all will be fine.

Just a quick question... I'm gathering together paperwork for my Interview on the 6th of March and I'm wondering whether I should be taking some evidence of our relationship. It doesn't ask for it on the checklist but would it be worth taking some?

Thanks guys!

I booked my medical on the 3rd of Feb and the first available date was the 23rd. Interview was roughly the same amount of time between booking and appointment. I was super nervous about my medical but its actually not that bigger deal as long as you have all the supporting documents and medical history etc! I'm kinda confused on the whole 'packet' talk. I received a letter from the NVC about 20 days after NVC approval stating my case number. You need to take that to your medical.

Do I need a print out or something? A hard copy? I'm picking up my jab records on Tuesday, providing I don't get snowed in. 😳

Last thing I want to do is jump the gun and be told to sod off.

Oh jeeze. So many questions. Sorry if they have been answered already. 3 threads of June questions is a bit much to go through. 😳

They only asked me on the phone for the case number.

On the day, if you don't have the letter by that time (which you should), you can use a printout of your CEAC status screen with the case number, or your USC should get an email from NVC with the case number - you can print that out (its the exact letter you'll receive in the post)

Oh my... Yesterday, I thought of you. I work in a bookies. There was a horse running called Mossy's Lodge at Wolverhampton. Every time I saw it, I chuckled. Came third, incase you was wondering 😂😂😂

I did, they said since the maximum time for the packet to arrive is 30 days, it is still "normal" because it is not 30 days yet. I can send the slowest mail possible and it still can reach the Embassy in a week. I don't know what they are doing now.

oh, I'm not sure then.  Sorry I cant be of much help.
