We’re actually in Gourmet Burger Kitchen now to celebrate and see a show later tonight in the West End.

Its sad that he is leaving tomorrow but I follow him in 18 days so I can handle it this time I think!

To warn you all UK peeps, they are now quoting 2-3 weeks for return of passport/visa - rather than 7-10 days...

I HOPE mine makes it - I fly on 13th hahahaha

but NO STRESS today - my thoughts are still with all those still waiting

Congratulations!

I picked mine up at the post office. Visa in hand and 15 days to go. So has he already left NZ? Or next Thursday? I am travelling with my wedding dress to the states, it's a huge dress with a a lot of crinoline under it. I purchased the wedding transport box from a company in Illinois called foster stevens, inc it's a special acid free box with acid free tissue paper, no doubt I will have to steam iron but I fell inlove with it and had to have it, so it's coming with my carry on.

I am so excited for us!

He's leaving next Thursday, the 1st :) transiting through Houston and then landing here in Minneapolis late that evening.  Luckily he's got a long layover between flights so he can wrangle the bike and get through immigration!

Good idea with the dress box - definitely something I'll have to look into.  I'm going dress shopping next weekend, hopefully will find something - I'm totally in love with this Australian line called Made With Love Bridal, but unfortunately they don't have any stockists in my state so I'm on the hunt for something similar.

I'm excited too!  It's definitely a bit surreal - waiting, waiting, waiting and now we're only a week out!  I'm going to be beside myself with excitement next week...luckily I'm crazy busy at work so it should keep me occupied, haha.

POE March 2nd for my fiancé - and getting married March 5th!  Perks of having a judge as a family friend :D

Congrats! So happy for you guys! :)

Say, may I ask you...won't your fiance need an SSN to get married? Or will you have one arranged for him by then? Questions, questions! :P

For some reason I had the idea that you have to have an SSN to get married and that it takes a couple weeks to get that. Maybe it's different in different states?
