Actually, I do control them!  I just love seeing people suffer...I never even filed a petition.  I just come here to start fights! :D

I knew there was something fishy that you did not get approved in 2-3 months, making all of us wait here. LOL  There are other ways to make friends... :)

I really hope you get your approval soon as well as the other May and June filers.

This wait really tests our grit and love for our soon to be spouses.

Haha, that will be our last resort :P Our wedding reception is in about a month, so we were going to ask for it back if needed if it started getting close.  It's just frustrating as they told my fiancé they'd definitely have it done by his travel date, no worries, etc...just don't tell people that if it's not true!  We're hopeful that it will be issued today, I think we're in the last stages now.

Congrats on finishing your journey!!  Lucky your fiancé gets to come over - I'm not heading back to NZ until December, feels like I haven't been there in ages!

You guys have A LOT of patience, if we were a month out I would be freaking out!!! I would be calling them everyday. I got B at reception, and before I had my interview she said if you have any problems just give us a call. Have you purchased flights? I hope it is issued today too, the longer you guys wait the more anxious I get they are just making a big mess there at the consulate. So you have not had a passport for a month now? I was so nervous leaving my passport there with the interview guy, that is such a precious document, if they misplace it ooooo hell hath  no fury lol.

That is it!  It is just a test.  There are some couple here having a much more difficult time.  I pray that they find their peace.  Now that milestone by milestone has passed, we are just hoping that we can get approved before we have to enroll the kids in school for another year in the Philippines.  We missed all the others so hopefully we will be approved by June or they have another year in school there.  It is a private school and the entire year's tuition is due in June.  That is our next challenge.

Just a little crazy pic from me and the fiancé to say hi and say we’re thinking of you all during our time together but the facial expression is to show that some people who I will not name are just crazy and confusing.

My fiancé had B too, we emailed her several times but she didn't give us any help at all!  Yes, he hasn't had his passport for a month...I think it was just the fact that they didn't have the medical since that's the only thing that was pending.  Maybe all the AP cases get shunted into some pile that doesn't get touched?

No flights purchased yet, but it looks like there's still seats open for next week if it's available (fingers crossed!).  The weather doesn't look great, no - I keep getting complaints about the humidity and rain, haha.  Not much sympathy for him when I've got to scrape a sheet of ice off my car every morning!

Our ceremony is slated for January 5th next year so we'll head over right after Christmas with my parents, sister, and a few of my friends and stay for a week or so after :) It'll be everyone's first time to NZ so I'm already playing travel agent!

Today is Day 250. I was hoping when I saw I have mail coming through Informed Delivery that one of the envelope's pictured would say USCIS. I should have known better. State Farm, however, decided to batch mail me and I have three letters coming from them.

I'm struggling with massive depression now. I have no desire to clean my apartment, wash my bedding, or even make dinner for myself. I had planned this semester's schedule so that I would have a lot of time for lounging around in bed in the morning with my fiance, talking about weddings, and travel, and what's coming ahead. Instead, this semester, I've wrecked my car, fallen on ice, been overwhelmed with work, and struggle to pull myself out of bed. And Alex just watches, helplessly, through Skype and tries to encourage me to keep moving.

I'm just so tired. And I'm tired for John and Rose and all the other people still waiting.

I was wondering how long you were actually at the doctors doing  the medical since I will need to travel down on the train, if it was around  hours that would make it easy to do it in one day,

OHhhhh sorry - personally I was there about an hour, but I didn’t have to see the vaccination nurse as everything was up to date and complete so that saved me some time I assume.

Thanks, I am planning on getting up to date on my vaccinations over the next few weeks and the medical record from the GP, I am planning on getting the train down and just wondered if the doctors kept everyone waiting as they do with our NHS, let us know how the interview goes, thanks and good luck to you both.
