Yay!!

I have my medical on Monday, and have my interview on March 27th, pfff! A month apart! Everyone here has written that the Amsterdam consulate is generally a fast one, but they only do K1 interviews on Tuesdays for like half the day, so once my visa fee processing was done, an earlier date wasn't available anymore. I seemed to have caught the last slot on March 27th, because what's now visible as open dates are 10, 17 and 24 April. They might just be busy....

Not complaining really, it's just that I want to fly over sooner rather than later! I can barely concentrate on work anymore these days....

Life is good indeed! :D

Ugh that sucks ! But you have waited a long time. What’s another month?

My doctor is stupid. I called 2 weeks ago and made the appointment, and they told me I would be with the female doctor.

Well today I call and magically that female doctor is pregnant and not working. (Mutterschutz)

great. So not only did they not inform me but I get to be naked And have a male doctor examine me. I feel like it’s a girls right to request a female, especially considering nudity 🤔 apparently not.  Plus the lady wants me to wait 2 weeks to schedule my interview, to make sure the documents get to the consulate on time. No ma’am. I shall NOT wait 2 weeks. 7-10 days maybe.

Uh oh! :o

That's annoying. But - as we discussed here in great lengths before, we don't have to strip all the way, eh?

Amsterdam consulate states a minimum of 10 days in between. Doctors office was quite firm in that too.  If the advice is 2 weeks, I would do that if I were you. Don't want to get stuck in AP like @mysticdolphin95! But if the advise is 7-10 days, go for it! ;)

I found out that that totally depends on the doctor. Some don’t make you strip at all, some make you strip to underwear and some make you strip naked. It’s like a game of chance.

2 weeks wait is ridiculous, but I guess I’ll do that then 🤔

Jikes! Is that a German thing....?

Stories here have been assuring that it's not that bad.

Luckily for NL there's only one GP practice in Amsterdam that's allowed to do these things, and it's a father and son. So despite both male, at least the reviews should be consistent if it's just 2 doctors, haha :)

Hello everyone. I got email from Casablanca consulate today. Medical is on March 7th and interview March 21st. I can't wait for all this to finally be over. Good luck to everyone else, and lots of positive vibes to last junies left behind. Hoping for good news this week.

I don’t know but I’ve decided I care too much and I’ll relax. They said the whole thing should only take 45 mins. I’m prepared and have everything together.

I just hope I’ll get a interview appointment in time and things don’t get delayed because of this stupid 14 day wait. Ridiculous. It should arrive via mail in 2 days. But whatever. Not the end of the world :)

Yes, they are complaining that 120+ days is unfair.  I am wrong because their lawyer promised it would be 3 months for the approval.  We were accused of lying.  We are there to help ALL filers understand.  We can't help if some have really horrible attitudes.  That was done offline and I will not bring it online.  I am lying about this being day 258.  They just joined and their lawyer says 3 months.  They are serious and they are in for a long 3 months.  I am just a troll according to them.

Somehow we are the bad guys because we are making up this almost 9 month wait just to upset a nube.  We are just trolls.  Nah, we are helping.  If you don't think so come talk to us at your day 200.  If they are complaining now will feel how in 3 months?

My lawyer said 6-9 months actually. My lawyer is great. His tongue holds the truth. LOL There's always this one person that trash talk but surprise it's a newbie. We don't have to explain ourselves to close minded people.

I like your lawyer.  He is honestly the only one here that seems to know what he is talking about.  You did good with him.  So many here got royally screwed by their lawyers.

Being called a troll because the newbies lawyer promised 3 months was another in a long series of bizarre things happening here...

Even though I got a good lawyer I still go here for real experience. Unlike that October filer who jumps in here and spreading newbie thoughts talking about 3 months BS. GTFO. LOL. I pay for their medical if they get approve in 3months wait. Tell them to Direct message me and show their receipt. No junies plays around here.

The thing is they were upset because it was already over 3 months and they were not approved.  It was like it was my fault!
