Sorry where have i said i dont like the delays that occur?

Its the fact @John & Rose came in here & said “October filers are complaining” & i simply said not all of us are

I have empathy for everyone during this process, it absolutely sucks that some are waiting much much longer than others but why are so many comparing themselves, it causes negativity??

Yes, they are complaining that 120+ days is unfair.  I am wrong because their lawyer promised it would be 3 months for the approval.  We were accused of lying.  We are there to help ALL filers understand.  We can't help if some have really horrible attitudes.  That was done offline and I will not bring it online.  I am lying about this being day 258.  They just joined and their lawyer says 3 months.  They are serious and they are in for a long 3 months.  I am just a troll according to them.

Somehow we are the bad guys because we are making up this almost 9 month wait just to upset a nube.  We are just trolls.  Nah, we are helping.  If you don't think so come talk to us at your day 200.  If they are complaining now will feel how in 3 months?

I don't like hotdogs. Frank's are awful. Love me a good Cumberland... Proper sausage. Ugh. Gonna miss proper sausages. And cheese. Proper, good cheese. 😭

I'm gonna lose so much weight 😂😂😂😂

I was, too! I know it's hard to tell, I'm horrible at jokes.

If you stay up in the north, there's a good chance that there are cultural festivals. I know there are in Ohio, anyway. We'd always go to like Hungarian-Fest and things like that, where my mom would make me eat sauerkraut until I cried and then she gave up. Mean old woman.

The grocery stores down here have a lot of stuff from the UK. I got red leicester just last week!

***** This is a general reminder that these threads are to support and lift eachother up; this is supposed to be a welcoming and friendly community and thread, not one for bickering.  You are all in a stressful situation, but that doesn't give you the right to be mean, use bad language or attack others. While it is against the TOS to tell others not to post, we also encourage members to mostly post in their own monthly threads; it can be helpful to READ the threads of those a couple of months ahead and behind you, but coming into monthly threads you are not a member off and complaining is not appropriate. *****

Thank you.

Not worth wasting your finger energy, @John & Rose. Have a hotdog. 🌭

Don't need their negative waves. We're all strong, albeit emotionally battered, survivers.

We got this. Hotdog?

I love a good Chicago Hot dog with 13 ingredients.

I'll be in MD. Luckily, the family I'll gain are into their socials and cookouts so there is always a party.

Oooooh, love a bit of Red Leicester. Was is expensive though? I (and the other half, the piggy) LOVE brie. It's SO expensive there compared to here.

Seriously, a bacon, brie and cranberry sandwich is amazing. Whole wheat bread... Warm, from the oven. 🤤

🌭

I think a decent size (5x5x.5) was $6? Cheese is stupidly expensive. Everywhere. I cant' buy boursin for under $4. Most of the grocery stores want like $6 for it.

That sounds amazing. Maybe I'll go by the store after the gym and bring Andy a cheeseboard home.

The thing I miss most, food wise, are kinder eggs and mars bars.

@Lotts and @Jaquelly before there were many Junies on VJ. @John & Rose told me about an English festival that happens in Chicagoland (suburbs of Chicago).

They dress in old English gear and talk in fake British accents, and eat fish n chips I believe. I didn’t get to go when I was there, but I sure will be going this year (If I’m granted a visa).

Its funny, as so many people in America (I’ve been to a few states) don’t think the U.K. have black British people. I can’t wait to rock up, black girl with an Afro that is a genuine Brit lmao. I also have a tone that tends to stand out, plus in from the Midlands lol. I do not have a typical Brummie or regional accent though.

Bristol Renaissance Faire... great Mead and authentic English foods.  We dress up and they have jousts and a King and Queen, traveling minstrels, ale...it is a great time.

The blacks there are probably the best dressed!  They wear authentic aristocratic wear.  There are a lot of serving wenches with plenty of cleavage to spare!  Walking around with a turkey leg is heaven there.

Dress in old English gear? Oh man. I'm laughing already. So Kappa track suits? Shellsuits?!?!?!!??! Do they talk with a horrendous Cockney accent? (Because Americans think the only accent we have is a London regional accent) -i do... 😳

Are they proper chips and not these "fries" that are everywhere?

This sounds awesome. See you there 😂😂

Huh... I went to university in the Midlands. Stoke-on-Trent. Used to go to Birmingham and Manchester quite a lot for gigs and shopping.

See, the Bristol (or Lethal Brizzle as I call it) here is known for Banksy, the Aardman studio, and this amazing cider boat the only sells you half pints because it's that strong. It's bloody delicious though.

I find it's mad that there are so many places over there that have been taken from our place names. I currently live in Essex and I'll be moving to, or near to, Essex in Maryland. I just can't seem to get away from this bloody place. 😂😂😂
