I like guns. I love shooting but I do not believe everyone should be able to own one!  It should be a privilege somewhat like driving. It should be revokable.

I have shot a few guns, I like the UZI as inexplicably I have the best aim with an Uzi in my limited test runs. That being said, we need to look no further than other western 1st world countries for the result of strict gun laws. We complicate a very simply issue....stricter gun laws directly correlate to lives saved.

Religion...I think man has destroyed organized religion for his own gains. I am a spiritual person but my God doesn’t complain about helping people who are less fortunate. Love is love.

God is, in my opinion, the greatest unknown. God may exist or may not, I have no way to know that answer. I also believe nobody has a way to know that answer and all of the organized religions are manmade as a way to control people. Furthermore, I hate the idea that some all-powerful entity is watching over us kill/torture/hurt each other but will occasionally answer someone's prayer to make their visa come faster. With all of the family and societal pressures, I cannot blame those who believe......but I admittedly struggle with this part.

The President? I believe he is a lower species, I can't stand his orange face. He is not wrong about everything because a broken clock is right twice a day. Bring back Obama!

I am torn on the gun issue. I realize that most 1st world countries are safer with their very strict laws. I still enjoy shooting and I do own. I am very careful with them. They are locked and they are never loaded when in my house. I honestly cannot imagine ever having to fire them outside of a range but I do make sure that everyone in my house is very familiar with the safe use just in case. I may be weird but my kids started lighting candles in my house when they were 2 or 3. They never had interest in playing with matches because they were always allowed to use them safely and for the proper reason. Guns are the same. Treat them with the proper respect and they are not dangerous at all. Like I said, not everyone should be allowed to own a gun.

I enjoy joy my spirituality. It gives me comfort. As for what it is, I guess that is hard to answer. I am comforted believing that there is something out there but I am not really sure what that is. It works for me so I don’t try to analyze it too much.

I am truly in the middle politically. I know that Obama did stretch some of the rules a little but I never felt that was done just to enrich himself or his friends. I believe that deep down Obama was a good human being.  I didn’t agree with everything but I always saw where his heart was.

Trump is simply a narcissistic and heartless human who loves “his” money more than anything else in life. Everything he does is about making money for himself and his friends. I don’t believe he cares how many people his policies kill as long as there is profit in it. There is a lot of profit in keeping people afraid. I am not afraid.

I like a man like McCain. He understands more about politics than most. Hillary would not be a good President. I could not support her. I just saw a lose-lose this time around. There are better people in both parties that should have been in the race. I am pro gun, pro choice, pro death penalty,  anti large government middle of the road liberal leaning conservative!!!  Lol. I see good on both sides of the aisle as long as the pendulum doesn’t swing too far either way.

Don’t get get me started on the lies. That is just amazing to witness.

Ol. I will give you feta cheese but I’m still anti olive. I have to make a stand somewhere.

Oh. Tuesday is day 259 for me and 274 for Trinab80. I just wanted to bring this back and the political and religious posts will probably be removed. I also hope that nothing I have stated has offended anyone. I respect your feelings and opinions and I do not mean to offend. I know that I am not perfect or 100% correct. It is just how I feel!

As for politics, I am registered independent as a sign of my disgust with both major political parties. Politicians are just purchased pawns, for the most part, playing the role and supporting the ideals they were paid to support. I have a strong distaste and distrust for politicians, in all countries.

I disliked Hillary very much, and simply despised Trump. I voted for the one I thought would be less embarrassing and more proactive in regards to international issues. Maybe I was feeling the Bern....

As for the gun issue, do you see a country here that does not belong?

https://www.worldatlas.com/articles/countries-with-the-highest-rates-of-firearm-related-deaths.html

Not to implicate those other countries but I thought we were supposed to be a world leader?

Interesting list!   I completely agree with you on politicians. I am a bit older than you. I actually wrote in Pat Paulson. You may or may not get that but look him up and his famous political slogan “Sure, Why not?”

1 week to 60 days after they receive it. (Usually the average is 30 days or less

CSC received my RFE materials that my lawyer sent back to them on January 27th and I’m still waiting for a response. They asked for more proof that we met in person before we applied. I had to send back hotel receipts, airline receipts and a affidavit from a friend that he was with me when I meet my fiancé in person while in the Philippines 🇵🇭. I didn’t have any pictures the first lime we met. Since then I have returned to the Philippines 🇵🇭 3 more times In the past year to spend time with my fiancé .  I’m very worried that I might get denied over not having pictures of us together the first time we met 😢 I didn’t know I would fall in love 😍 and even think about getting married at the time. I knew nothing about the immigration process 😢 I’m in the Philippines 🇵🇭 now and will return home to the USA 🇺🇸 in a few days to check my mail. My case status hasn’t changed online yet 😢  I check it daily.
