Just received our NOA2 in the mail today. We can't stop smiling, so happy that this first step is done!

Just got off the phone with Tier II.  They say 2 days ago they sent out a request for initial evidence.  I'm not sure what that is but it is some real information for a change.

This looks very promising, I would expect to hear back soon. I received my NOA2 the day after I received my bland inquiry response. I suppose it does get USCIS's attention.

 

Rooting for you and John&Rose and anyone else still waiting!

 

FYI, saw the letter through informed delivery and then received it in the mail, no online updates.

nope theres 1 RFE thrown in there on 2nd Jan which we responded to a couple of weeks later (cos my petitioner was visiting me at the time) but otherwise it's been a long ### wait. NOA1 20/06. NOA2 09/02.

Interesting twist with our married friend...He can just change the K-1 to a K-3 and keep going.  I've never heard of that.  He just needs to file an I-130!.

PHILIPPINES ONLY!!!  CFO (Commission on Filipinos Overseas) INFO - Can't leave home without it!

 

PDOS (Pre-Departure Registration and Orientation Seminar) is for ages 20-59.  Peer Counseling is for 13-19 years of age.

It is required to have the visa in their passport for PDOS and Peer Counseling.

 

GCP (Guidance and Counseling Program) is for K-1 Fiancee and IR/CR-1 spouse ONLY.

Riiiiiight, gotcha. Fellow UKer here too. Awaiting my NVC number so I can get things moving with the medical and interview. Just wanted a rough idea of how long it's taking between NOA2 and being issued with the NVC number.
