Maybe one of the remainers should be given the keys for the scans to run it daily? With NAES as support?

Those scans would help people who are waiting feel less stressed IMO. My schedule is all over recently so apologies I cannot commit to it.

Unfortunately I am not that computer savy

Anyone who has some advice for us - my fiance is moving home with her family for the last few weeks before her interview as she is leaving her University.  We used her new mailing address when we completed our DS-160, but I am see posts of other filers sending emails to the consulate with the new address as well.  I thought the DS-160 address change would be sufficient based on other posts I read, is this not the case?  FYI - Our Embassy is Rio De Janeiro in Brazil.  Anyone done a beneficiary change of address with them after NOA2??

I'm pretty sure they don't mail anything from the Rio consulate.  You will get an email with the instructions.  When you schedule your appointment and pay the fees, you will be asked where to mail the passport or if you want to pick it up from a facility.  I believe that's the only thing where the address will matter.

I was wondering this, because I've seen posts that say to be sure to update your address for the packet 3 instructions.  But it looked like everything was electronic, and the embassy website has good instructions on what to bring and how to prepare for the interview.  When you have waited 8 or 9+ months like we all have, you don't want to make any assumptions and risk delaying things even more!

We know the feeling.  Trying to prepare for the next stages helps distract some from the wait on this one.

Hey Martin!

I received an informed delivery letter yesterday about my inquiry...it just stated that my application was under normal processing times.

However, there is another letter coming in today...am very nervous...

Want to come party it up in Los Angeles once your K-1 is in hand? Add your name to the list (everyone is welcome)! :jest:

Hi everyone,

I've been lurking these forum for a while and feel for everyone still waiting for NOA2.  I'm a June 30th filer with no update and just made my first service request for outside normal processing time since now it shows working on August filers!  Why are the agents so rude?? I don't understand why they seem to rush you off the phone and show no kind of care to what we're requesting.  Another 30 days to wait for a response.  I wish there was a way to talk to someone at the service center! I know I'm beating a dead horse here, but I was wondering do you think it would be overkill if I sent a request to my congresswoman too? I saw a few members go that route, but wanted to see what your thoughts were? @John & Rose I feel for you!! Hoping you hear something soon!

I am a 6/22 route and contacted my congresswoman last week as I haven’t gotten anywhere with the inquiries I have made. So I think it’s worth a shot...I figured I had nothing to lose!

Thank you! You're right, I will submit an inquiry to my congresswoman now.

For the amount of money we've paid for this stage alone, you'd think answers would be a bit more helpful and decisions would have been made already. 😔

Do a Congressional inquiry.  Call and try to get a Tier II.   Do whatever you can possibly do.  The squeaky wheel gets the grease.  I waited way to long to start complaining.  This is your life.  Always do whatever you have to do to get control back.  The are approving 100s of August filers every week.  Get out there are scream from the rooftops.

The Tier I agents are frustrated since they are taking a lot more phone calls from upset filers than they are used to.  3 to 6 months wait and they don't get many calls.  Now that they are at 7+ months there are a lot of upset petitioners who paid good money for a service that is not being delivered.
