How about this:

when you go to check your visa status on the CEAC website you select 'immigrant visa.' But when you put in the info the drop down box has it listed as a non immigrant visa. So it's neither and both at the same time. Schrodinger's visa.

Ohhhh no don't go there.... Do not even imply dead visa applications

It’s utterly bizarre, but the question does say was it filed at the USCIS as a an immigrant visa - USCIS clearly define the K1 as a non immigrant visa. The DOS seems to be stray between calling it immigrant and nonimmigrant.

Hi guys, we are June 12th filer. My fiance called the USCIS many times. Sent and inquiry online since our case is already considered as outside processing time".

Today, uscis app on my phone alerted on our case appeared like this "case result changed". Hoping and praying to received an update "case was approved" in the morning. Anybody has an idea what is this update all about? Or anyone here experiencing like we did?

Many people including myself got that same update, unfortunately I don’t think it means anything  We are still waiting too, hoping to hear something soon

Still here waiting... like many of our “Juners” who are feeling left behind about now. It’s been 9 days since they received my RFE response, after being lost 12 days by our postal service. Atti and I will never get that time back!

I just need an answer so I can move forward with life. People already stopped asking me about the wedding, thank God! At this point all I want to know is if Atti would be ever be allowed to come home with me 😭

We try our best to be optimistic, make jokes with the kids about him getting here when we are 90... but it does take a toll on the relationship and it has taken a toll on me. I am frustrated, and probably depressed at this point. This feels like a pregnancy that never comes to term!!! 9 months for God’s sake...

well that’s my frustrated, angry rant for the month of February... sorry guys 😔

I know the feeling...it’s an emotional roller coaster and it feels like the approval is never going to happen! I hope you hear something soon! Hang in there!

I kind of referred to the schrödinger comment, you know, dead cat's and all :P

Good morning, I am the petitioner

So.. We got approved 2/2/18 and yesterday I was informed that my sister who is also my co-sponsor for i-134 & i-184 will no longer help us... ( she told me that she is not sure my fiance is comming here for the right reasons..which tbh is just an excuse..😥) anyways.. I recently got a promotion at work and now I make more than what we need for 125%. Do any of you know , in my last w2 I didnt met the 100% because I didmt work the whole year.. will the still consider me to have enough income to sponsor my fiance by myself? The letter from my work states that I make more than the 125%, also my paystubs can prove that, just my w2 will show less... can someone please advise me or point me to the right direction....😢

Has anyone got any sample letters to congress I might be able to take a look at? I'm beginning to think we should at least try this route.

I just drafted my own but my congressman offered to do an inquiry on my behalf. I made sure to add how we were essentially being punished for approaching immigration in a legal manner.

I just called their office and had to sign a release for them to submit an inquiry and included facts about the case...etc. Still waiting to hear anything
