The answer is NOT 100% no as I explained earlier.  Don't panic people for no reason.

Too busy to read all the thread, however I’ve researched this question already and am comfortable the answer is no.

I actually don’t think they would hold it against you if you incorrectly answered yes, so no reason to panic.

But busy enough to read that question, and not my reply a couple posts after it... never mind.

Exactly - I called the embassy today and, in the UK at least, the answer is not a reason for concern.  They accept both answers due to the widespread confusion, and simply ask you to clarify if you answered yes because of the petition you are interviewing for, or another.

Oh yeah, I saw a couple answer yes but didn't read all of the answers. I was on the train using one hand to make sure I do not lose my balance, going through internet dead spots in NYC subway and fielding phone calls when the train left the dead zone. Also pissing on Amazon for saying my item shipped when I still did not get it 2 days later. I can provide a more in-depth response (i.e. the content of phone call and my amazon receipt) as needed, please do send a PM at your leisure. In the meantime, the below is a representation of my day.

Yes, this is right. I plan to throw up a bunch of links about this form when I get a chance. I'm a bit tired, stressed out at the office. Sorry, all as I can't post much to help out (or post gifs and piss people off) with my work schedule. I hope my schedule changes soon. I need the holiday coming on Monday!

I'm new here so I'm wondering a few things. I filed June 13 and I'm still waiting to here from USCIS. Is anyone else still waiting?

Also waiting from June 27th!

I didn't see much love for June today. A bit unusual that so many Juners are still waiting!

August mid day scan shows 44 files touched and 19 approvals!  In August.  What about June and July?  Those are great numbers.

As for June 6, no touches today and the app reports that there are 63 at "Received".

Maybe they are just making us wait for Valentine's Day?

I know I say this every week, but best of luck to you!

I'm hesitant to post this given how many people are still waiting.

But you guys are all my Junies, so I want to share my good news with you. Got Packet 4 today, booked interview March 7th, with the medical happening on Feb 20.

Don't get me wrong, I'm so happy....but.

But!

What a very weird feeling it was, to finally book the interview and pay the fee and all that today. All that stuff that I thought about and planned for so long, to finally be getting it done.  Somehow, it was just plain weird to be doing it...kind of surreal and really, downright anti-climactic.

This process has sucked nine months out of my life...six more than I thought and I'm not young anymore. I guess I don't feel like I really have nine months to spare, you know? :P Time is precious at any age, granted, but...yeah. And who knows how it will all pan out. POE is still not guaranteed.  If all goes well, this time next month I'll be going home to my fiance. Yet...given all the political uncertainty and these delays and the whole roller coaster, nothing seems guaranteed to me anymore. Anything can still happen in a month...and it's still one more month out of my life that naturally I'd much rather already been there with my fiance, maybe starting some seeds for my first veggie garden in that storied American soil. Ah well.

So I'm happy for myself but it's such a bittersweet thing. John and Rose, Martin, KBA, Trina, everybody still dangling in the wind with no word..every time I think about y'all my gut twists because you've been waiting the same as or longer then me.... with still NO END IN SIGHT.  And there's no rhyme or reason. What a nightmare.

I'm so sorry guys!!  Happy to be moving on for myself but yeah, so sorry and sad for how this has worked out for all of us May and June filers, really. Can't really put lipstick on this pig...none of us are getting this time back and that really effing sucks, plain and simple.

Anyhow, I know there's nothing anyone can say or do. But I'm still here, rooting for y'all and hoping for the best. Hope this spring brings better days for all of us. Hope Springs Eternal.

Cheers guys. (L)

Congrats!!

No reason to feel weird, we are very happy to see another member finish this process! We are all in this together! Bet of luck with the interview and getting your visa!!

Its more than a bit far fetched... considering this new information that in fact, they only run a check on the USC AND its not a full check..... Thats downright ridiculous.

Hmmmm I’m not so quite sure about that... they had information on Atti during the “background” check period.  I suppose USCIS processing will Always remain a mistery to me!

But he had spent extensive time in the states right? They’d have him on their databases :-)

No, I don't think so.  They told him at his interview that if the medical would have been there they would have sent him home with the visa.

Has the medical physician contacted him? Have you contacted the Consulate? I am frustrated for you guys, I check daily to see if your timeline has been updated yet. Hoping you guys here something good this week.

Thank you for that!!! I am so confused haha... I talked to several People who put YES and got approved... to be honest, I think it doesnt really matter what you answer. If you answer YES, you just briefly explain. If you say NO, the embassy will understand as well.... so its probably just going to be a personal choice wether you say YES or NO :D
